Amy and Jaden had been texting and planning their trip for the last few days while Alice was slowly building up the new home for the cats.

She didn't have the confirmation yet, but she was going to adopt cats, no matter what.

Her recovery was not going as smooth as everybody had hoped. Sure she had recovered fast up to this point but now she seemed stuck.

Alice ate small parts of Jaden's portions, not ready to order her own food yet. Her body wanted to eat more, it was ready but her mind was screaming at her not to do it.

Jaden had told his mother about Allie's problems, of course not everything but enough that she would understand.

"Hey, Allie?"

"Yeah?"

"My sisters will be there too, okay?"

"Yeah. Of course. Should I bring gifts? Does your mom drink wine?"

"You do not need to bring a Gift, Allie."

With a bottle of wine in a pretty bag, she sat beside Jaden in his car, ready for thirty hours of driving.

She decided that it was rude not to bring a gift and knows that there are many people that would be offended by it.

She placed the bag in the space behind her seat, so that it could not fall off of a seat.

It was confusing how Jaden and Alice were always able to talk about anything on these long rides.

Alice also filmed a YouTube video introducing her and Jaden's favorite songs, letting Jaden's fans hear his beautiful voice.

They took turns but each of them still drove fifteen hours and slept a few in the passenger seat.

Alice had the last miles, so she had to wake Jaden up at some point, so that he could lead her to the house.

It was a comfortable temperature when Alice got out of the car in Chattanooga, helping Jaden with their bags.

He wanted to do it alone, but Alice refused to let him carry everything on his own.

"Jaden!"

And with that two girls came running towards them, nearly tackling Jaden in a bone-crushing hug.

One of them was Alice's height with brown, short hair while the other sister was tall with blonde, long curls.

"Sophie, Haley. Meet Alice, my girlfriend."

Not wasting a second the two of them hugged Alice as well, who was very new to this situation.

"Just call us Halo and Soph."

"You have no idea how happy we are to meet you. Tell us something about you!"

With that Jaden took the bags out of her hand, leaving Alice with his sisters to go inside and meet his mother.

Amy took a look at her son and pulled him in for a loving hug.

"You look so good, baby."

"Yeah, I have been sober for nearly two months now."

"Really? That's great. I am so proud of you. Did you bring Alice?"

"Yeah Soph and Halo have her at the moment."
