Jaden, bless him, didn't even ask questions.

They looked for the nearest cat shelter that has rescue cats.

Two hours later they stood in the shelter and Alice was crying tears of joy. She absolutely loved cats and seeing so many at once was intense.

She registered herself at the entrance and told them, that she was looking for three cats.

Deciding how many came actually easy to her, one was definitely too less and two as well but four and up was too many to get at once, doesn't mean she won't get more.

The lady who showed her all of the animals was really nice but tried to convince her to get a dog too but Jaden shut her down quickly.

There was one unit with three cats in it, one was a Ragdoll and British Short mixed Munchkin that looked at her with adorable eyes and played with Alice's fingers. With it was a six-year-old Siamese - tabby mix cuddling, with a brown-white British longhair.

"Those three have been together for a while now. They get along very well and rarely fight."

"Can we take them out?"

Instead of answering she opened the cage to get them out. Gracefully they hopped to the ground and Alice was told to pick one of them up so that they could go over to the playroom.

Jaden took the left-over tabby mix and followed Alice.

In the room the cats didn't actually play a lot, they were cuddling with Alice, Jaden, and each other, showing Alice how great their relationship was.

"Can I sign up for these three?"

"Yeah, of course. It might take a while until you hear from us, but you will."

Alice left her information and had a hard time leaving her newfound love behind.

Not motivated to get back home, also because they were setting up the get-together, they headed to the beach.

Jaden ordered takeout at a nearby restaurant, getting Alice a children-sized portion, knowing that something would be leftover.

But she did eat well. Maybe too much salad in comparison to the fish but she ate.

"We're having a little photoshoot tonight so we should head to your apartment first so that you can look for an outfit."

"Really? You didn't tell me?"

Considering the time, it was a valid way to explain things. But he wasn't lying.

They would have a photoshoot, just in the afternoon, not in the middle of the night. It was honestly surprising how Alice didn't realize what was going to happen.

Alice decided to go with more than one outfit and when Jaden saw the bag, he told her to get ready in one actually, they would start the moment that they would arrive.
