The next morning was very slow for Allie and she was bored, to say the least. She had tried everything, sleeping, drawing, and TikTok.
Nothing seemed to work so she decided to text Jaden and figure out if he's busy.
As it turned out, he was but only to the afternoon, there he would just hand out with Travis and Kelly. Jaden also told her that she was very welcome to come by and hang with them as they were just planning something.
Alice knew that Jaden didn't have time to eat, even if he had eaten that morning, he was always hungry so she went to the store to buy ingredients.
Seeing as Travis was Vegan, it would be a vegan meal which she had no problem with, it was something new and worth trying. Grilled Asparagus and Shitake Tacos ended up being the chosen meal.
Not knowing if they had utensils at the studio, she brought plates, boxes with the Tacos, and napkins. On her way to the building, she stopped, getting them coffee, settling with three black ones, and one with milk and sugar for Jaden.
Even with everything but the coffee's in her backpack, navigating through the building was harder than she had thought.
Jay had texted her in which room they were so she knew where to go and with a little help she eventually found it and kicked her foot against the door, not wanting to spill the hot beverage. With an "Allie!" the door was ripped open and Jaden who wanted to hug her, sprung back a little when he realized that that could have been painful.
"Give me those."
After he had set them down Jay pulled his girlfriend into a hug and gave her a kiss. "We finished recording today."
"That's amazing Jay!" In excitement, Alice jumped a few times before hugging Jaden again.
"Kells, Travis. I would like to introduce you to my lovely girlfriend, Alice." The girl desperately wanted to give off good first impressions to the people that made so many things possible for Jaden.
To say she was intimidated was an understatement, both men easily towered over her 5' statue. Travis accepted her hand before he pulled her in a hug, same with Kells.
They may seem tough but Jaden was like a little brother to them already, somebody they could teach what they knew and somebody who brought spunk with him.
They already knew a thing or two about Alice. Jaden didn't seem to be able to talk about anything else than her or his music. "How are the cats?"
"Tired, as always."
"Yeah, you do have very lazy cats."
"Oh, I brought food and coffee. I don't know, are you guys hungry? We can al-"
"Thank you, Allie, I am starving. Can I call you Allie?"
"Sure, not many people call me Alice anyways."
Kells brought the coffees over while Alice started to unpack her backpack, taking out the food and plates. Jaden carried over another Armchair that had stood somewhere else in the room.
The group was sitting comfortably around the coffee table, not eating yet, they wanted to discuss something else first. Alice took the time to look at the room they were in, behind the glass she could see the recording booth, where Jaden probably was most of the time.
The number of buttons and things she was seeing were too much for Alice to even comprehend so she just gave up and sat back down again. "Allie do you want to be in the music video?"
To be honest, she did not expect this, and she knew she didn't need to answer this, the smile on her face and the glint in her eyes were enough for Jay. "I would love to. It's So what, right?"
"Yeah, did you listen to the snippet on TikTok?"
"I did, you have no idea how excited I am."
"That's good, some of Jaden's friends are going to be there too. But there is one thing-" Travis just left that hanging in the air, waiting for Jaden to explain.
"Yeah, there is going to be another girl that will be like, she'll be like the girl I am interested in."
"Okay cool."
"You're fine with that? Just like that?"
"Well I trust you, and it's just a music video, you're not getting married, it's like acting. Right?"
"You amaze me."
"I take that as a compliment."
"Now that we have that out of the way. Food?"
The conversation during their meal was pleasant and Alice tried to get information out of the three, concerning Jaden's music. but they were tight-lipped and didn't give anything away, much to Alice's dismay.
But they told her a little of what she would be doing in the video "Throwing paper and dancing". In the end, she just gave up and stopped asking, knowing that the only answer she would get were chuckles and nods, no matter what she would say.
Alice was driving them to Jaden and josh's new house, they could move in and Jaden had a few things there already and wanted Alice's help.
"Allie? I have to tell you something."
The girl let out a hum as she took a left turn.
"I smoke again, but no weed, I promise!"
"Oh, I knew Jaden, but thank you for telling me anyways."
"You knew?"
"Yeah, you can chew gum and put deodorant all over you but your hair still smells like smoke."
"Are you okay with it?"
"Why shouldn't I? It's your body when you want to quit we can work on that but I don't really have anything to say if you ask me."
"I am not your Ex Allie, you can tell me when you don't like something."
"It's okay Jay."
"Sometimes I think that you're too good for me."
"Stop it, Baby."
Alice saw the new house for the first time and was shocked at the size of it, there were only three people that would live there and a dog. But she was happy for them, that they could even afford this place.
There were boxes in Jaden's new room and he hadn't even set up his bed. Together they managed to pull the room a little together so that it looked like you could actually live in it.
