THE HATE OF THE MASTERMIND

"Mom, where's dad?" tanong ko kay mommy.

"Nasa totoo niyang pamilya. Tinatanong pa ba 'yan, Zuri?" sabi pa mommy at ininom ang wine sa harapan nito.

"Tsk! Bakit naman daw?" badtrip kong tanong.

"Meron silang photoshoot ngayon sa isang sikat na magazine kasama ang buong family nila. You know, your daddy is the governor of the city," sabi ni mommy na parang ang casual lang sa kanya ang setting namin. If she's fine with it, well, I'm not. I hate it!

"Stupid! That should be me! That should be me and not Elle!" inis kong sabi. "Mom, tayo ang unang pamilya ni daddy. Ako 'yong unang anak diba? Bakit sina Elle 'yong laging bida at kilala ng boung mundo?! That should be me and you! Dapat ikaw 'yong pinakasalan!"

"Shut up, Zuri! Ang importante may pera tayo and we can buy what we want. All we need is money," mas lalo akong nainis sa sinabi ni mommy. "I hate all the headaches sa pamilya nila."

"This is crazy! We're just a little dirty secrets here, then it's okey to you?! You must be kidding," I said with so much frustration.

"Then, what you want, huh, my daughter?" walang pakialam na sabi ni mommy.

"I'll do everything! Dapat makilala din ako na isang Lopez. That I am not just a nobody in this world. I'll get what I deserve!" sabi ko bago iniwan si mommy sa mini bar namin.

Our house is huge but unlike my dad's house. I am dreaming of living there but it's kind of impossible. Well, like I said earlier I'll get what I deserve, I won't be forever like this. Hindi lang kay Elle lahat kasi kung tutuosin I am the first born.

"Dad, I have something to tell you," sabi ko kay daddy isang araw na pumunta siya dito. What happen to the moon at naiisipang dumalaw sa'min for almost one month na di nagpaparamdam.

"What's that, honey?" tanong niya sa'kin pero di man lang ako tinapunan ng tingin.

"Do you love me, right daddy?" I said with my sweet voice. "I want to come out to the public that I am your daughter."

Tumabi ako sa kanya at yumakap. This is my plan. Gusto kong makilala ako ng boung mundo. I'm Lopez anyway.

"I'll give you cash. How much do you want?" sagot ni daddy sa'kin. I feel disappointed with it! How dare him!

"Daddy?" napa-upo ako ng maayos and try to come down. "I'm your daughter but why it seems I am not?!"

"Does what I give you isn't enough?" he asked and the booms inside me explode. "What do you want?"

"Really, daddy?! I am your daughter and I want you to accept me!" sigaw ko dahil di kuna napigilan pa ang sarili.

"I accept you, Zuri. That's why I'm here and I give you all you want in your life," he said and my anger start to eat my system.

"Dad, no one knows except you and mommy that I exist in this world! It was you and mommy knows that I am a Lopez! I want to come out as your daughter, too! I deserve it!" di kuna napigilan at nailabas ko lahat ng galit at tampo ko. "Everytime I see you with your family, especially with Elle I hate it. I envy Elle because everybody knows she is your princess while me I am just your secret! Am just a shadow of Elle!"

"Cut it, Zuri! You don't have the right!" I thought I could change his mind but I didn't. He just walkout.

"I hate him! I hate them!" sabi ko habang tinatapon lahat ng gamit na makikita ko.

"Holy fuck, Zuri! You're destroying my things! Stop it, mauubos na 'yong gamit ko dito!" awat sa'kin ni Bella. Nandito kasi ako sa pad niya ngayon dahil nainis ako sa sagutan namin di daddy.
