Ushijima looked down at his outfit outside the mall, wondering if [y/n] would like it.

Ever since Tendou made him come to the realization that he liked the first year, his mind was constantly plagued with him, even more so than before.

He checked the time on his phone, wondering if he had arrived too early out of excitement.

"Wakatoshi-senpai?"

He looked to the side to see [y/n] in adorable oversized clothing, the tips of his ears already becoming pink as he coughed awkwardly.

"[y/n], you're here early."

The male just smiled as he walked closer, laughing a bit as how stiff the guy seemed.

"It's 10 minutes before our meeting time and you're already here, how long have you been waiting?"

Ushijima embarrassedly patted the shorter male's head, thinking to himself that he couldn't say its been over half an hour.

"Not long, come on let's go inside."

[y/n] just nodded and the two walked inside the mall, his [e/c] eyes instant traveled to the Sanrio store as he tugged on Ushijima's sleeves.

"?"

"Can we go to the Sanrio store? They have a limited addition collab with one of my favorite soccer mangas~"

Ushijima found himself nodding right away, and the expression of his crush's face made everything worth while.

"Alright! Let's go."

The ace watched with his heart full of content as [y/n] looked at the items with literal hearts in his eyes. A small smile made it's way onto his face as the soccer player gushed over the tiniest little things.

"Um excuse me?"

Ushijima turned his head to see one of the employees. It was a male that seemed to look back and forth between [y/n] and him, and a sort of hesitant feeling was in his eyes.

"Are you guys dating by any chance?"

The question came as a shock to the volleyball captain who instantly became guarded.

Who else would ask that question unless they had hidden motives?

Fortunately, the worker seemed to know what Ushijima was thinking and waved his hands frantically.

"Ah! It's not what you think. I just couldn't help but notice how in love you looked like when you were staring at him haha..." He trailled off, realizing that he may had come off rude and annoying.
