Chapter 11

LOOK MORE FLASHBACKS BRO

Luke's POV

As we were playing our cover of Jasey Rae I looked up from the ground only to see two unfamiliar faces. They were both teenage girls who looked about our age maybe a year or two younger. One had bright blonde hair and was fairly pretty. The other had hair similar to copper, but it suited her pale skin greatly. As I was singing I would try and sneak a peak at her, when we got to the chorus I caught her singing along and dancing awkwardly. I couldn't help by smiling because she was just too cute, but when she saw me staring she looked away immediately. She intrigued me, I just had to see who she was. We went through the rest of the song with her never glancing back at me, but at least she sang along. After we finished playing I set my guitar down and made my way over to the girl with copper hair. She didn't notice me walk up until her friend gave her a look.

"Hey" I said running my hand through my hair

"Hi " she said shyly

"I noticed you singing along, do you like All Time Low?"

"Yea, actually they're my favorite band" she said warming up to me

"Same, I'm uh Luke by the way"

"I'm Bradley"

"I've never seen you around here before"

"Oh yea, I'm just visiting for the summer"

"Well it's nice to meet you Bradley, maybe i'll see you around?" I said as the boys called my name.

"Yea maybe" she said walking towards her friend who was just talking to Calum and Michael.

I really hoped I saw her again, there was just something about her that made me wonder what she was really like. I watched her and her friend who I found out was named Carter walk farther and farther away from us.

We were currently setting up for another show in Hyde Park. Michael was unpacking the guitar while Calum and I were sitting on the grass. We were warming up when I saw them walk over, but still keeping the distance. I kept my eyes on her as we played, even when she saw me my eyes never left her gaze.

As we finished I quickly walked over to her knowing if I waited she would try to leave. Luckily for me Carter was headed towards Calum and Michael. While she was passing me by I could faintly hear her say good luck.

"Hey Bradley"

"Hi Luke"

"Did you like our cover?" I asked hoping she did.

"Yea, it was great"

"Thanks, so uh I was wondering if you and Carter maybe wanted to come hang with us later"

"Oh actually I think we-"

"I just told Calum and Michael that we were" Carter said interrupting Bradley.

"Oh okay see you later then. Bye." I said waving while Cal and Mike came up behind me.

"Aren't you happy, I could literally feel you watching her while we played" Michael said laughing.

"Ha, very funny Mikey" I said smiling because Michael thought he had screwed me over, but mainly because I would be seeing her in a couple hours.
