It was now the next day, Neji expecting Sakura to tell him what happened last night, but she didn't tell him anything.
"Good morning Neji-kun!" Sakura said as she yawned and stretched.
"Good morning Sakura-San, are you feeling alright?" Neji asked.
"I'm feeling just great, why do you ask?" She smiled at him.
"No reason, I was just curious.." Neji responded.
"Well imma go shower and get dressed, afterwards you'll shower too, then will meet up with the guys!" Sakura told Neji as she made her way to the bathroom.
"Alright." Neji said.
He fell back on his bed and let out a heavy sigh as he heard the water from the shower pour.
Did she really not trust him enough to tell him how she feels, why she hurts, is it his fault? These were examples of Neji's thoughts.
He got up and decided to make his and Sakura's bed, once he finished with that he went to feed their bird. The bird has grown nicely over the pass weeks, soon it'll be ready to be released back into the wild.
When he finished feeding the bird and grooming it, Sakura came out the bathroom, smelling like flowers and fruits and anything sweet you could think of, she was wearing a nice pair of jeans, a striped shirt that had the colors, white, red, blue, and yellow, and a pair of white shoes.
"Thanks Neji-Kun! I would've done my bed myself, but you just made my life easier!" Sakura said, giving neji a bear hug.
"It's not a problem, anything for you. I'm going to have a quick shower, then we'll meet up with the others." Neji said as he stepped into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.
In the mean time, Sakura decided to wear light makeup, which she never does, so she applied some mascara and lipgloss. She looked into her vanity mirror and she looked lovely. She had matured nicely over time, she was very thin, she looked fragile, her beautiful porcelain skin, her long flowing pink hair that caressed her hips, she had a nice ass, well that's what her friends would tell her back home, she had D-cup breasts, you would think that that's a good size but it was nothing compared to Ino and hinata, both of them were a larger size than Sakura and often she would pity herself for not looking like Ino or Hinata. But her friends showed her how to love herself, to have more self confidence, and Sakura was grateful for that.
She looked at her eyes, that was a mistake. She had her fathers eyes, when she looked in the mirror she immediately saddened, a tear threatening to fall, but Neji stepped out of the bathroom, so she didn't cry, she didn't want her friends to see her in pain, she didn't want to be a burden.
"Ready to go Sakura-Chan?" Neji asked.
"Yeah let's go.." Sakura said.
While leaving through the front entrance of the school, they saw some students already leaving, most students were catching flights to go back to their home towns, others would wait for their parents to pick them up.
Home...
Would she ever see her home again?
Should she visit her home again?
The hell place of a home she hated,
Not hated, she loved it, with all her heart.
It was the people in the home that made it hell.
No, it wasn't that either, she loved them, so
Why did she think home was hell...?
"Sakura-Chan! Are you alright?" Naruto asked, giving her a tight hug.
"I- yeah Naruto I am. Could you let go? You're squeezing me too tightly." Sakura said.
"Sure thing! Are you ready? We're gonna go to a farm where their hosting some activities, and we're gonna have a great time! Also, we're going to ride in one of TEME's fancy limousines!" Naruto said excitedly.
"Yeah, I'm ready to have some fun!" Sakura said with a smile, a sugar coated smile.
A smile that both Uchiha brothers picked up on, but they didn't make a comment about it, they simply glanced at each other then back at her.
Most of the limo ride was boring, not many of them chatted.
"So why are we going to carve out pumpkins again? When it's thanksgiving?" Sakura asked out of the blue.
"Well, the farm had left over pumpkins from Halloween, and we're just going to carve them for fun, but they'll be turned into pumpkin pie afterwards." Sasuke answered her.
"Makes sense I guess." Sakura said with a shrug.
"Sakura-Hime, are you alright?" Pein suddenly spoke up.
"I'm fine, there's nothing wrong." Sakura said, yet again flashing another fake smile.
The conversation died after that, the trip was about 45 minutes long when they reached the farm.
There were many food stands around, each selling different food, a couple of activities for children such as face painting and coloring turkeys, there was the pumpkin patch and carving station, and there were also barn animals around, such as Horses, you could ride the horses but you have to pay for that of course.
"Wowwww Sakura-Chan what do you wanna do first!?" Naruto asked.
"I don't know." Sakura said nonchalantly.
"How about we head off to the pumpkins and pick them out. After all that's what we came here for, then we can do whatever we want." Neji said.
And so the gang went to the pumpkin patch, picking out some pumpkins and carving them, then saving them for home so they could make pumpkin pie with their families.
"Hehe! Now that we're done, Sakura let's get our face painted! You too TEME!!" Naruto said dragging everyone with him.
"Naruto-Baka! Those are for young children!" Sasuke protested, Sakura nodding in agreement.
"Fine, you guys are no fun!" Naruto said.
"What shall we do now?" Itachi asked.
"There's some food stands, how about we get some food?" Pein suggested.
"Alright, what are we going to eat then?" Neji asked.
"I want pizza!" Naruto cheered.
"Is everyone fine with that?" Itachi asked.
All of them just nodded in agreement.
"I brought my fake ID so I'm going to buy some apple cider alcohol, that they sell." Pein said walking off.
Neji, Naruto, and Sakura went off to find a table while Itachi and Sasuke order the food, Pein already on the line to buy some alcohol.
Shorty, the food arrived, and Pein came to, with his alcohol of course.
While eating their feast, Itachi spoke up.
"Sakura are you sure you're alright?" He asked with concern.
"I'm fine. Why do you guys keep asking!" She suddenly snapped, standing up from the table.
"Sakura-Chan... if something is wrong you can tell us.." Naruto said.
"I'm fine! Everything is ok! Just stop worrying about me!" Sakura said, storming off, some tears already falling down her face.
The guys looked at each other for a second, then looking at where she once was sitting, they realized she had barely eaten her slice of pizza.
"We should leave her alone for a bit." Sasuke said.
"Yeah... she cried last night too." Neji said.
"So she's been crying and not eating much? Refusing to talk to us about whatever is bothering her?" Itachi asked.
"Seems like it..." Naruto said.
Pein chugged the whole apple cider alcohol down and sighed.
"Wow she's acting like...." he trailed off.
"Like?" Naruto asked.
"As if her..." Pein trailed off again.
"As if what?" Sasuke asked.
"I'm an idiot, how was I not able to tell before.. I'm going to go look for her, you guys stay here." Pein said getting up and running towards the direction Sakura had went.
"That's strange..." Naruto said, the others nodded in response."Sakura...?" Pein said as he found Sakura near the horses.
"Yeah?" Sakura turned around from the horse she was petting, and gave Pein another sugar coated smile.
"When?" He said seriously.
"When what?" She asked dumbfoundedly.
"When did they... pass?" He hesitantly said.
As soon as he said the word "pass" she bursted into tears, and hugged Pein tightly, her head buried in his chest, he could feel her tears trail down.
"H-how did you know?" She asked quietly.
"It just clicked. I lost my parents too, my sister as well, when they died, I refused to talk to anyone about it, and I didn't eat much either. It's ok Sakura." Pein said, giving her a tight squeeze.
"I- the last thing I said to my mother w-was I-I hate you. I regret saying that!" Sakura sobbed.
"It's alright. They did cause you a lot of pain, you grew up with them and you've adapted to the idea that you love them, but do you really? And did they care for you the way you cared for them?" Pein said.
"I-.... um... I loved the way they behaved in public, but that was just a show for public... they... I- I don't think they actually cared for me... now that I think of it." Sakura said, more tears falling down.
"Just let it out Sakura. Cry all you want right here, right now. Don't hold on to any regrets, they weren't worth your love anyways." Pein said.
Sakura then let out a series of cries, in all, it lasted about 20 minutes.Pein and Sakura made their way back to the guys and explained everything. They then went back to the dormitory's.
"So Sakura-Chan?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah?" Sakura said a bit grimly.
"What are you going to do for thanksgiving tomorrow? Surely you won't go back to Oto with no family to go to?" Naruto said.
"I don't know, I might stay at the dorms." Sakura said.
"If you're staying... then so will I." Neji said.
"Count me in too." Sasuke said.
"As well as me." Itachi said.
"I, and the whole Akatuski will stay too." Pein said.
"You better believe I'm staying! We'll get all of our friends too!" Naruto said.
Sakura then started tearing up, crying happy tears.
"Why are you crying Sakura-Hime?" Pein asked.
"Because this will be my first real thanksgiving, with the people I love the most..." Sakura said.
She then proceed to hug them all.
Looks like they'll all be celebrating thanksgiving tomorrow in the Akatuski's dorm, a nice thanksgiving, with the people they love, their friends, friends that are family.
She no longer has to cry because of the past, because what had happened to her. If anything, she'll cry because it's over, those monsters known as her family couldn't hurt her anymore.
