(Your POV)

The day after Asuma's death, we held a funeral to honor the fallen shinobi. All of us were wearing black, including Yoshino and myself. For me, I was wearing a black Hawaiian shirt with white doves on it, pants that had an ivory vine pattern on it, and black sandals. Yoshino on the other hand was wearing a black dress with white frills and black boots, while Yoshinon had a black bow tie. My adoptive daughter Mira was also wearing a black suit and tie, with Ile and Nel wearing something similar to myself.

Yoshino, being the absolute sweetheart she is, was crying despite having never met Asuma. As she cried, Light was nearby consoling her, with his personality now resembling a chuunibyou Butters instead of a straight up chuunibyou. Light, who was wearing a suit, was holding Yoshino's other hand, telling Yoshino that everything will be alright. I would console Yoshino myself, but I got the feeling that Yoshino wanted to be with Light, and vice versa.

While I was still miffed about their relationship, Valentine advised that I let them at least become friends. So I did since Valentine is the only woman who gave me advice on how to raise a girl, where Lorem is you may be wondering? She was called back after the author got overwhelmed, oh wait, the right explanation is that when Yugito was attacked, Watatsumi called back all the pieces he can.

With that in mind, all of us were standing in the graveyard as it was pouring, which I know isn't my fault this time. While my kids did have umbrellas, I never liked using them, so I was just standing in the rain with my hair getting wet. Of course, the only people who weren't here were the judges, Mori's team, Ornstein, and Smough. Mori's team and the Judges were obviously still in the safe realm, but Ornstein and Smough weren't here because they didn't have any clothes that fit them.

As I stood there, I took notice of a familiar blonde individual who was short in stature. I lowered my head and saw Meliodas, standing under an umbrella. Meliodas then stood next to me as we faced the same direction as everyone else.

"So Asuma died yesterday huh?" Meliodas said in a slightly sad tone, and I understand his loss, Asuma was one of the few coworkers he liked

"So Asuma died yesterday huh?" Meliodas said in a slightly sad tone, and I understand his loss, Asuma was one of the few coworkers he liked. "Despite being there, I heard you looked pretty unbothered."

"Yeah, I kind of lost my ability to cry years ago." I honestly informed the man, not giving my reason as to why. "Despite being at a funeral, you seem a bit unbothered yourself."

"Everyone has to die one day." Meliodas calmly said in a slightly melancholic voice. "But what they believed in will never fade away as long as someone protects it."

"I'll admit, that was well spoken." I brushed my wet hair out of my eyes so I can see a bit better, noticing that Meliodas had a slight smile on his face despite being at a funeral. "What are you so happy about?"

"I never did tell you the real reason I gave you my sin." Meliodas looked into the sky, making me confused. "I earned my sin because I couldn't protect those I loved. You earned yours by doing something similar..."
