Chapter 18: Revenge and Pumpkins

It was now the day after Asuma's funeral, and all of us were now in hiding. Shikamaru gathered everyone he could to get revenge on Hidan and Kakuzu, which would be a good idea if it wasn't for the fact that it was just me, Choji, Ino, and Shikamaru. Luckily, I was able to set a small sentry base in the spot that Kakuzu and Hidan are supposedly heading to, which was an open area with white trees scattered around the area, all of which were dead.

My sentry base was hidden behind a rather large rock that was positioned so the two immortals will only see my little base when they pass by the rock. In this sentry base I had a [LVL 3 Sentry], [LVL 3 Dispenser], three [Turret]s, and a [LVL 3 Teleporter]. I also had a two [Peashooter]s, three [Sunflower]s, a [Chomper], and a [Repeater]. In my hands I had [Volendrung], since the hammer works just as good as a wrench. As if that wasn't enough, I've hidden [Mini-Sentries] around the area.

Everyone else was hiding in the nearby treeline, since I'm the best one when it comes to playing defense and setting up traps. Oh yeah, I've set up [Pitfall Traps] all over the place, cause I feel like it. Another thing I have at the ready is [Cavalier], a buzzsaw/motorcycle combo capable of making Ruby Rose jealous. I knew my new arsenal of weapons may be overkill considering I don't plan on murder, but I did get a new Quest.

I was curious as to who Headless Jack/Jack Frost was, were they the same person? My thinking was interrupted when I heard the sound of footsteps approaching my hiding spot from the other side of the rock. My guns will only fire if the individual is a danger, but I still prepare [Volendrung] and [Cavalier] in case the source of the footsteps suddenly attack me. After a couple seconds, two figures suddenly walked past the rock I was hiding behind. You guess it, it's Kakuzu and Hidan.

"...and they were roommates." Hidan finishes his sentence before he and Kakuzu stopped in front of my sentry base, with the whole scene looking like time froze from a second. "What the fuck?!"

"Hello." My turrets all adorably said in unison before opening fire, along with my sentry gun, pea shooters, retreaters before opening fire on the duo, neither of whom had enough time to react to the trap.

Hidan quickly jumped to the other side of the boulder, while Kakuzu formed some kind of hand sign to harden his skin, making the bullets fall right off. Since I decided to ditch the code of honor, I summoned [Direct Hit], [Brass Beast], and [Grenade Launcher] behind Kakuzu using [Raingate], while also summoning [Blade of the Mystic], [Sword of the Tall], anc [Terra Blade] above Hidan. The two were completely oblivious to my obvious trick, that was until I dropped the swords atop of Hidan and opened fire on Kakuzu.
