Michiru POV

Shirou, Nazuna and I stood in the middle of the huge open area where Anima City's ten year anniversary was held. Behind the three of us, was a stage with two microphones at the center of it. At the platform's sides, there were several large speakers. In front of the stage, there were several circular tables with chairs. They were the kind of tables and chairs you would find at black-tie events like galas. Beside the group of tables was a long buffet table with various dishes.

Today was the day that the first humans would arrive in Anima City. The spacious area the three of us were waiting in was where we were going to welcome the humans

Now, of course, no humans were moving into Anima City yet. It was the first day of the city opening, so neither side was exactly prepared for that yet. There wouldn't be too many humans in the city today. Most of the humans coming in would be journalists, buisnessmen, politicians, and a few daring tourists.

The mayor had decided that for the first day, there would be a panel, where Nazuna and I would talk about beastmen, and our experiences. The humans would also be allowed to ask questions regarding the city and beastmen in general. Afterwards there would be a buffet for both the humans and beastmen who would like to interract with each other. The whole point of this event was to test the waters of humans in Anima City.

I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I fidgeted with my hands, and my tail wouldn't stop swishing. I was constantly checking myself, straightening my shirt and fixing my hair.

"Would it kill you to sit still for a few seconds?" Shirou huffed out, visibly annoyed.

"I can't help it alright. These people will be the first humans in Anima City. I want to make a good impression. I am a representative of this city after all." I blabbered on about how important it is that I get this right.

Shirou simply grunted in response, a scowl plastered on his face. The Silver Wolf of Anima City was not in a good mood today, nor was he in a good mood at all in the past week.

Shirou could be really petty sometimes. While mayor Rose was correct that Shirou would calm down eventually, it took him a whole day until one could consider him calm.

I glanced at the time, it was around eleven-thirty in the morning. The mayor told us the humans would be arriving at around this time.

I began fidgeting even more. My tail stood on end as I squinted my eyes to look outside, trying to see if the humans were had arrived

I wiped the sweat off of my forehead. With each moment that passed, scenarios of how I could mess up flashed through my mind, each one more embarrasing than the last.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and yelped as I turned around in shock. My face flushed a deep red as I saw Nazuna trying her best to suppress a laugh.

"Nazuna that's not funny!" I whined.

Nazuna laughed, clutching her sides. "You're way too nervous, Michiru. With shaky hands like that, you're bound to embarass yourself."

I simply pouted, and shot her a glare.

"You have to relax Michiru."

"It's not that easy Nazuna! There are just so many things that could go wrong. I just don't want to humiliate myself." My gaze fell to the ground

I felt Nazuna place both of her arms on my shoulders. "Listen Michiru, everything is going to be fine alright. You don't need to be nervous. You have Shirou and I are right beside you. The humans will love you."

I looked up at Nazuna and was met with soft eyes and a comforting smile. "Thanks, Nazuna. I really needed that pep talk."

"Don't mention it." Nazuna chirped as she released me.
