Joseph scanned the area in search of a lost dog.

Lisa Lisa had told Joseph and Caesar that a dog was missing, and she wanted them to practice their tracking skills. They were not allowed to use hamon, rather they would use their sense of judgement and perception.

The Brit sighed loudly. He had searched what felt like everywhere, but the pup was nowhere to be seen. They were expecting a chestnut-colored dog to be roaming around. So far, neither had seen it. Jumping atop a building, Joseph knelt on the roof, scanning the area. A sudden flash of brown caught his attention. He reached for his binoculars to get a better look. Sure enough, a medium sized dog with a lime collar disappeared in an alleyway. Bingo.

He jumped from building to building until he reached the alley. Looking down, he spotted the dog sniffing around at a trash can. Joseph noticed Caesar out of the corner of his eye and waved him over.

"There he is," Joseph whispered when Caesar got close. The Italian nodded, and soon enough they had both gone on opposite ends of the alley. A quick signal of their hands and both boys had slipped down onto the pavement. Surprised, the pup looked curiously at them.

"Pharaoh Hounds are very quick and crafty. Careful, Jojo," Caesar warned the brunette. Joseph nodded, and they neared the dog.

Joseph began to coax the animal closer to him. "Come here, pup!" He asked playfully, making sure to seem a bit submissive but demanding at the same time. The dog cautiously inched closer, but at the last second bounded towards the only exit. "It's on you now!" Joseph called to his partner, sprinting alongside the dog. Caesar nodded, readying himself. The dog tried to jump over Caesar but was caught in the blonde's arms. "Finally!" The two said, panting heavily.

"We've been at it for hours! Good thing he didn't make it too difficult for us to catch him in the end," Joseph gasped for air. "Now we can go home," Caesar breathed. Joseph nodded, smiling.

They ended up across the entire city, so they took a gondola towards the island. Their goal was to find the owner's home again so they could deliver the pup back to its master. After an hour or two, they had arrived and handed over the hound. The lady offered a cash reward, but both refused.

"mi scusi, signora, ma non possiamo accettare," Caesar announced, kissing the woman on her hand politely. "Saremo sulla nostra strada, ora." She nodded her head. "Grazie, giovane."

And with those words, the duo started towards their island to have dinner and settle down. As they sat on the edge of the boat, Joseph looked into the water. Caesar curled his hand around Joseph's lovingly and put his head on Joseph's shoulder. "I am so happy we found that lady's dog. I bet she was just dying to see that little scoundrel back in her arms." The Brit nodded, wrapping his free arm around Caesar. The chilly air nipped at their skin.

The Italian put his lips up to Joseph's ear. "And I'm dying to be in yours, mi amore." Joseph chuckled lightly, taking this moment to catch Caesar off guard with a fast peck to his lips. "You are such a romantic, bubble boy," Joseph laughed more. He looked up slightly to see the island in view. "You'll be in my arms later tonight," he whispered.

Both stood up and hopped off the boat. "Race you to the dining hall!" Joseph called, hauling himself forwards. Caesar rolled his eyes and laughed carelessly, bounding after him.

Joseph had narrowly won by the time they reached their destination. Both gasping for air, the pair opened the large doors and were greeted by their coach looking in their direction.

"How was the mission?" She asked, one leg crossed over the other. "We found the dog!" Joseph exclaimed. Lisa Lisa motioned for him to continue. "I found the dog and we cornered it in an alley, but it escaped me! However, Caesar was there to grab it. The woman we returned it to was really happy, and even offered money, but we didn't take it."
