"Can you come get me?" The distraught voice of Jp rang through the phone as Wade picked up the call. Wade got up immediately, leaving a confused Mark and Bob calling for him to come back to the game. "Yeah of course. Are you ok?" It was obvious that Wade was concerned for the man on the other end of the call. He got his shoes on and got in the car as he waited for Jp to answer.

"N-no. Not really." Jp replied, his voice shaking. "I just want you with me." It hurt Wade to hear how much pain Jp's voice held. Jp had gone to a party with a few friends while Wade chose to stay back to record with Bob and Mark. But in that very moment, he really wished that he hadn't.

"Ok, I'm on my way, I'll be there soon love." Wade promised the man. He didn't care about the speed or anything else, all he wanted was to see his boyfriend. Make sure the younger man was ok, he'd hurt anyone who tried to hurt him.

"You remember where I am, right?" Jp asked, making sure he wouldn't end up somewhere completely different then where he was. "Yes babe, I'm about ten minutes away though." The man replied. ""Just stay on the phone with me."

"Ok.. just be careful please. I don't want you to get hurt." Jp said, more worried about his boyfriend's safety than anything else. "I will be, nothing is going to happen." Wade assured the younger man. They stayed on the phone, talking about random stuff to take Jp's mind off of whatever happened, till Wade arrived. He found Jp sitting outside the house he had dropped him off at only hours before. Jp made his way to the car immediately. As he got closer Wade could see that he had been crying and it broke Wades heart. As soon as the man was in the car, Wade gave him the best hug he could in their positions.

"What happened Baby?" Wade asked as he pulled away. He took Jps hand into his own, squeezing it lightly as he drove off. Jp stayed silent though, and Wade didn't try to push him to talk. It would only make things worse if he did try to.

"Their..there was a d-drunk guy.." Jp mumbled, breaking the silence, shaking. He couldn't bring himself to look at his boyfriend as he spoke. "He tried.. touch me." Tears were streaming down his face. He was terrified that Wade would hate him. Wade pulled over to the side of the road, shutting the car off, and turned his body to face his boyfriends.

"Did he..." Wade trailed off, not wanting to say the word. Jp shook his head, still staring at his feet. "N-no.. he got close." Jp answered quietly. It was obvious at this point that Wade was pissed. "I'm sorry, I was scared and didn't know what to do." Jp knew he wasn't happy and was scared he was going to lose him.

"It's not your fault Jp," Wade stroked the back of Jps hand with his thumb. "You don't have anything to be sorry for, you did nothing wrong." He promised the younger man, placing his other hand on his cheek in an effort to get the man to look at him. After a moment of hesitation Jp did. The look on his face broke Wade's heart even more.

"You're..not mad at me?" Jp asked in a whisper, leaning into Wade's touch. "No. Why would I be mad at you? You didn't make him do anything." Wade dried his tears with his thumb the best he could.

"I thought you'd hate me, thinking I was weak." Jp replied honestly, Wade frowning as he said that.

"I'm never going to hate you baby. I can't." Wade tried to assure him the best he could. "And you're so far from weak. You're one of, if not the most, strongest person I know."

"Really?" Jp asked the man, nervously.

"Yes. I mean every word and I always will my love." Wade leaned across and kissed the man softly, Jp returning it after a second. They poured all of their emotions into that one kiss, all the pain and love the two had. Jp was the one to pull away after what felt like hours, needing air.

"I love you, Wade Barnes." Jp whispered, a small broken smile making its way onto his face.

"I love you, too, Jeremiah Woodward." Wade mumbled. "More than anyone or anything." He returned the smile, it being impossible for him to not smile when seeing the man next to him smile. "Wanna go home now?"

"Yeah, I do." Jp laughed quietly, only now remembering that they were just on the side of the road.
