and sorry if this is short but this is the last of the episode material before we go into the 'Upside Down' (episode 8 material).

Nancy tugged the hose, dragging it towards the empty kiddie pool. Hooking the hose up to a sink, she turned the knobs of the sink, letting the water flow through, slowly filling up the pool.

"Colder!" Lucas exclaimed, with a thermometer submerged into the pool. Nancy turned one of the knobs to correspond with his instruction.

"Warmer!" he yelled again. Nancy turned the knob again. "Right there!"

Jonathan and Hopper cut open bags of icing salt, emptying the contents directly into the water.

Dustin took an egg from an egg carton, dropping it into the water. His two friends watched as the egg sunk. Jonathan and Hopper poured more salt. Dustin tried again. He let go of the egg watching as it floated on the surface level. Mike smiled, and smacked him in the chest playfully as Dustin shone a proud smile towards his companions.

Mike set up the radio to sit on a nearby cart while El prepared herself for the bath. She took off her socks and Mike's watch. Joyce handed her the tapped up goggles.

She put one foot into the water, with Percy and Joyce helping her in. She lowered herself until she was floating on the surface. The electricity surged throughout the building, leaving them in darkness.

She woke up in darkness. She stood in the familiar scape, making her way cautiously to her destination with hesitance.

"Barb?" she called out. On the other end, she spoke while floating "Barbara?", alerting Nancy and Joyce. She walked closer towards the mound but jumped back when noticing the figure. Barb lay completely dead. Her face with coloured green and looked slimy. Her eyes looked vacant and the rest of her body was encased with the familiar goo and webbing. A slimy snake seemed to crawl out of her mouth.

El jumped back in disgust and surprise. Her mouth hung open as well as her eyes but she couldn't seem to look away. At the school, the electricity pulsed bright before reverting back to darkness.

"What's going on?" Nancy asked.

"I don't know," Mike said confusedly.

"Is Barb okay? Is she okay?" Nancy directed her question towards El's floating figure.

El screamed in the void, "Gone! Gone!" She turned away from the corpse, clutching her head in agony.

"Gone. Gone." She repeated to the others. "Gone."

Nancy's face contorted, her eyes becoming watery. She covered her mouth with a hand.

"It's okay. It's okay," Percy repeated, grabbing onto El's wrists comfortingly. "Hey. El. It's okay. I'm here. We're right here."

His voice echoed, surrounding El. She closed her eyes and the scene changed. In front of her lay 'Castle Byers'.

"Castle Byers," she repeated to herself. On the other end, Joyce's gaze turned towards Jonathan, gauging his reaction. She inched closer, pulling the curtain away to enter the fort. She kneeled to the body of Will.

"Will." Joyce gasped while Jonathan could only stare.

"You tell him... tell him I'm coming," Joyce said.
