Hazel POV

I had it. I had the ring. I told Frank that I was going on a solo quest, and I was. I was searching for the most precious jewels in the world. I had some control over my curse, so I could sometime bring up non-cursed metals and I was willing to give it a shot.

I had passed out for 2 days after I did that but it was worth it. I stepped through the border and was swarmed with people. Leo and Percy had educated me on the modern world, with Reyna and Frank to correct them because they liked to be sassy. Reyna and I had become best friends, surprisingly and I need to get back to the story. So anyway, glanced around, searching for Frank. Better now than never. I spotted him and ran through the crowd. I reached him and told him,

"I have something to say,"

He froze, nervous. I took a deep breath.

"When I said that I went on a solo quest, that was a white lie. It was a quest, but it wasn't for the gods. It was for you. I searched to find something and I found it."

I brandished the ring and showed it to him. He gasped. It was blood red, with a nugget of gold on top.

I got down on one knee, which was a bit awkward considering that he was a foot taller than me. "Will you marry me?" I asked, terrified.

"Of course Hazel!" Frank laughed, "I love you! Plus, I think your brother would kill me if I said no!"

We laughed and Reyna dismissed the crowd and let us off duties for the day. Frank, being so kind, tried to insist that he should stay to help her, but Reyna refused, saying that we had to spend the day together and celebrate and that she would have Thalia, her girlfriend, to help. Frank caved and we went back to his private house, spending the rest of the day snuggling up, watching comedies and having a Harry Potter movie marathon. This will make sense later.

I know it's not long, but I feel like Frazel are the kind of couple who would be short and sweet about things.
