Chapter Fifteen

May's POV

We moved through the long, narrow, corridors before finally stopping as we come to a split. "Why'd you stop?" I questioned the green-haired boy. Slowly Drew turned his head around the corner. "Grunts..." He whispered back as he brought his Roserade out. "Blaziken come on out," I whispered taking, my Pokemon out too. "There are two of them let's... make this quick." He whispered to me. I gave him a nod before we both called on our attacks. "Roserade use solar beam!" "Blaziken use overheat!" we shouted in union as a cloud of smoke appeared. As the smoke started to clear, Drew stood in front of me trying to shield me. "W...what's wrong?" I asked. When the last of the smoke was clear, all that we saw were the two grunts unconscious. "You can never be too careless especially; when there's a princess like you here" He smirked which made my face crimson red.

With Misty and Clemont

Misty's POV

"What are you doing now?" I asked the blond annoyed. He was yet again, doing something to his invention, that somehow fitted in his bag. "Nearly done..." He replied. " And finish!". I looked at the device which looked like a flying type Pokémon and gave him a confused look. "O...kay. What is it?" I said as he started laughing. "I'm glad you asked because I thought we might encounter a situation precisely like this. Clemontic gear this machine will show us the way as well as the grunts that are guarding this area. I call it my Noivern grunt and way finding machine." He finished with a pose. "You get no point for the name," I say destroying his confidence. "Thanks... that's something Bonnie would say..." he groaned.

Suddenly the invention started beeping in a low tone. On the screen, there were two green dots. Which I guess are Clemont and I and four red dots. "Grunts get ready" I shout taking out my strongest Pokémon. "Gyarados, let's show them your power" I yell. Clemont does the same a Pokemon with black and, blue fur comes out. "Are you ready Luxray," Clemont asked. And the Pokemon gives him a determined nod. I quickly take my Pokedex out and see what the Pokemon is. "Luxray an Electric-type Pokémon. Luxray can see through solid objects. It can also instantly spot its prey which tries to hide behind walls, even if the walls are thick." The Pokedex explained. Amazed I, put the Pokedex away and get ready to battle.

With Serena and Alain

Alain's POV

I looked over to the honey blonde hair girl. She held a picture which had Clemont, Bonnie, Korrina and Ash along with herself. "That's a nice picture" I smiled. Serena turned towards me and smiled. "This when we were looking for the Lucarionite for Korrina to mega evolve her Lucario" she explained. "You miss him, don't you," I ask her. Serena doesn't respond, but tears start to prick her eyes. "I'm sorry Serena I didn't mean to please don't cry!" I tell her. Quickly she wipes the tears and once again smiles. "It's okay. I'm fine" she smiled. However, I know for a fact that she is not.We continue West while encountering many grunts on the way. Serena is unbelievably strong. Her pokemon are all moving gracefully, making it hard to take your eyes off.

With Red, Gary and Aaron

Red's POV

I've been observing my dad for a while now. Something is troubling him for sure. Gary has noticed it too as he breaks the silence. "Mr Ketchum are you okay?" He questioned though my dad didn't seem to respond. I put my hand on his arm when he finally looks towards me. "Are you okay dad?" I repeat Gary's question. He sighs and looks ahead. "I feel like something bad will happen. For a while now I've had this feeling that I'm going to lose one of you. And I don't want that! What if it's you? Or Delia? Or Ashe-" "Stop!" I shout making, both dad and Gary stop in their tracks. "Nothing is going to happen. And you won't lose anyone. I will make sure all of us make it back alive" I give him a determined look. "That's right Mr Ketchum I will also do the same" Gary smiles.

Aaron's POV

Even though my son stopped me from thinking negative that feeling is still there. I am worried that one of us won't make it back alive. Suddenly we hear a loud explosion and all three of us run forward towards the area where the explosion happened. It didn't take us long as we came to a fork in the corridor. A machine which stood coated with soot and destroyed. Then behind it came Clemont and Misty followed by the rest of the group. "Was that blast that loud?" I asked as everyone looked at Clemont. "Oops, another failure" cried, Serena. Misty marched up to Clemont angry. "Hey, you can't have your inventions running off like that" Yelled Misty holding Clemont by the collar who was repeatedly apologizing. Turning my attention away from the group of teenagers; I scanned for any grunts appearing. Either because of the explosion or the amount of noise, everyone was making. But none. "Did you guys clear out your areas" I questioned the group. They all nodded in agreement before we heard a loud shriek coming from ahead.
