Chapter Nineteen

Pitch-black. Everything around me was pitch-black. No light. Not even a tiny dot of light existed where I was. I felt tired as I lay there. Slowly closing my eyes, thinking if I was dead.

Ash...!

I shot my eyes open on hearing my name. However, the voice was so distant from me. I searched everywhere in the darkness to find the source of the voice calling my name. But nothing.

Ash...!

I was getting desperate. "Where are you?!" I shouted; Hoping I would get an answer. "Find me," It said. "How?" I ask. It has to be someone close to me. But who? "Serena is that you?!" I yell. "You love her that much?" the voice, says. "Ash..." This time the person is close. Turning around, I see someone I thought I would never see again.

"Mom..." tears start to brim in my chocolate brown eyes before sliding down my cheek. "Mom!" I rush over to hug her. "Arceus Ash, please don't cry," She says wiping, the tears. "I know everything so like Serena said don't blame your self." I don't say anything for a second. "But-" I start to say. "It doesn't matter if you are the one who did it. Because I happy it wasn't some stranger but my own son." she smiles. "Everyone is worried about you." "I can't..." I say. "I can't get over the fact that I'm the one who killed you. It hurts so much. I didn't even spend that much time with you and, now that you are gone I can't ever be with you." Tears are rushing down my face as my mother pulls me into a hug. "You won't be with me but; I'll always be there with you. You know where?" She asks. I shake my head slowly and, my mother puts her finger on where my heartbeats. "Here..." she smiles. "I'll always here in your heart and your memories my, angel."

Hours pass by and, Mom has persuaded me that whatever happened wasn't my fault. We talk and talk until I realise something. "How are you here," I ask. She smiles before responding. "I saw how you were suffering. I couldn't bear to see you like that. So I begged Arceus to let me see you one last time." "So you won't ever come back," I ask. And she shakes her head no. "Well now it's time for you to wake up, don't you think" she beams at me. "However promise me that you won't blame yourself for whatever happened." "And return the love that Serena is giving you. She has loved you for a very long time. I know you like her too." She winks at me and; I go crimson red.

Though it's true ever since she kissed me that day at the airport; I felt this warm feeling inside of me that I have never felt before. It's like I want to spend every moment with her and only her. "You're right. I guess I do love her" I smile and, Mom starts to fade away. "Wait what's happening to you?" I ask in a panic. "Well I'm going back now" she smiles. But that's the thing I don't want her to go back. "Goodbye, my little pokemon master...and I'll always be there in your heart. I love you, my son."

And with that, she's gone.

Serena's POV

It's been four hours most, likely five since we came. Ash still hasn't opened his eyes. "Please, Ash, don't leave me" I start to cry. "I...I love you." "I love you too...Serena" I glance up quickly after hearing those words. Ash lays there grinning, And I couldn't respond for a second but, then I tackle him into a hug while crying. "Hey don't cry," he says as puts, his hand on my honey blonde hair. "Those sapphire eyes of yours don't look good with tears in them" he smiles. "Ash!" cry both Red and Mr Ketchum. "Dad!" Ash quickly gets out of bed almost, stumbling into the floor before embracing his father into a hug. "I'm sorry," He says over and over. "I've got you and your brother so; it's alright. Delia left her two jewels with me; I'll always remember her through you two" Mr Ketchum says still hugging Ash.

Aaron's POV

Thank you, Delia, for leaving me something to remember you. I'll always keep you in my heart and memories.
