Chapter Ten

Back at Pallet Town

"Asher Ketchum" I told them. Everyone stared at me with shock. "W...what's your relationship with Ash anyway" asked a girl with red cloth. (I don't know what to call it-.-) 

"I'm his older brother" I smile. "Older Brother!" they all shout in union. "Yes and please could you keep it down" They all apologized and we heard a knock on the door. "Dad you finally can in" I say going towards him. My mom is the first to get up and walk up to him. "Aaron..." Mom cries on dad's chest while he hugs her back.  I join them and for a few seconds I feel our family is complete once again. But the thought of Ash not being here I feel a bit of emptiness inside of me. "We are going to get him back okay" Dad says wiping her tears. Dad has never made Mom cry and even if she did cry he did his best to make Mom happy again. "You should smile more Mrs Ketchum it suits you" smile a girl with blue hair. "okay can we first introduce ourselves" I say a bit annoyed. Everyone laughs at this which brings a smile across my face. 

Dawn: My name is Dawn and I'm a top co-ordinator 

May: I'm May and I'm also a top co-ordinator and a Gym leader

Drew: Name is Drew

Paul: Paul

Clemont: I'm Clemont the Lumious Gym Leader

Bonnie: I'm Bonnie

Misty: Misty is my name

Serena: And I'm Serena a Pokémon Showcase Performer

(Yeah I don't want to include all the characters)

"Even if Ash is not here  I can't believe he travels with four different girls all cute" said Gary in a childish sad tone. "I'm jealous"

After a few hours

Serena's POV

We were all have a talk on how to save Ash when I hear something. "I'll be right back" I tell the group and head towards the kitchen door. Everything seems dark outside but I still have a feeling that someone's watching us. Stepping outside I feel the coolness of the breeze go past me making my hair fly. "I...is anyone there?" I yell nervously. Few more steps forward and I'm swooped up into air by a Pidgeot. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" I scream from the top of my lungs "May, Dawn, Gary help somebody please help me" "Quiet brat you're coming with us" says a raspy voice. When I don't see anyone coming I start to worry. Did my voice not reach them? Tears start to form in my eyes when.... "Charizard use dragon tail" shouts someone from the shadows. As soon as the attack hits I start to fall. "I've got you" yells Red before I hit the ground. Both of us stare in the direction of the group of people who tried to capture me and the the Pidgeot. "I know that uniform it belongs to team Flare." I explain to Red. Everyone is outside now and looks worried. "Serena are you okay you're not hurt are you" Dawn kneels beside me. I give a reassuring smile and turn to Clemont. "It was team Flare Clemont" I tell him. "But why did they try a capture you Serena" he asks me. I look down and think for a moment. "Maybe they tried to capture me so that could use me to make Ash do something we know he wouldn't" I exclaim. "By the way Red thank you... for saving me" I smile hugging him. "No problem Serena I know you're special to Ash I can't tell how but I know you are" He smiles. I blush at that and look down instantly. 

Red's POV

We all sit outside enjoying the breeze while everyone talks about their adventures with Ash. The moment doesn't last long as we hear a loud shriek from inside. 

I dash towards the house to see Dad on the floor and Mom gone. 

"NO! MOM! NOOOOO!"

Hi everyone yeah if you guys thought Serena was going to be kidnapped then you're wrong. I've read in many stories Serena being the one being captured and all so I thought "hey why not change that" Serena might be precious but she can't be more precious than his mother.
