Into You Again [THE MALFOYS II]

6). Christmas Eve

When Christmas Eve arrived, the Malfoy Siblings were preparing a dinner filled with love. Lucy is cooking food, Isla is preparing the dining table, Isaac and Phillip are preparing the decorations, Caspian is preparing a cake. Everyone was enjoying their activities but they had to stop because they heard the sound of the Lucy's owl entering the house and dropped a letter on the table.

Isla looked at the letter and said,
"Its for you mother. It seems like it from Grandmother it has the Malfoy's seal on it."

Isla gave the letter to her mother.

"Here mother."

"Thankyou sweetheart. Can you help me to put the food on the plate please?"

"Okay mother."

After Lucy left the kitchen, she opened the letter and read.

"Dear Lucy,

Hello Lucy dear, Its mother. I am so sorry for telling Draco the truth. I just cant hold it any longer and I do want to my grandchildrens to gather with their original families on Christmas day without hiding. I hope you're not angry with me. And I do hope you and the childrens to stay overnight tomorrow on Christmas day at the Manor. Our ancestors must be happy to see their descendants. Have a happy Christmas Eve,honey.

Mother."

Frustated,is what she feels at the moment. Not only her mother wants her to stay overnight at the Manor but she has to deal with Draco and Astoria at that Manor. But she can't reject her mother invitation right? Its been so long that her mother wish to see them gather at the Manor. And her mother think its the best time right now. Not mentioning Caspian, who just know who his father is.

"Dinner's ready!!" Isla shouted excitedly.

Lucy came back to the kitchen and sat down at the dining table. Her children are ready to eat when they heared the doorbell ringing.

"I will get that." Caspian stood up and walks up towards the front door.

After Caspian opened the door, Lucy wondered why there was no sound from Caspian. She walks up towards the front door and saw Caspian frozed she asked, "Who is it Cas?"

After she saw who was it, She frozed too.

"Hello Lu." He smiled.

"Draco, what are you doing here?" She approached.

"Can I stay for Christmas Eve's dinner?" He asked.

"Draco what happened?"

"Please, Lu?" He begged. She can't reject him she has a soft spot for Draco.

"Come on in,Draco." She let Draco into her sweet home.

Caspian let him in and closed the door. Lucy invited Draco to the dining room and tell the childrens.

Draco is looking around the house while walking into the dining room. He sat down on the chair. Draco sat across Lucy, in his right side there's Isaac and his left side is Caspian. Caspian has avoided Draco's eyes the moment he let Draco enter the house.

"Children, this is Mr. Draco Malfoy my...." Lucy looked hesitated.

"My brother." She said.

Isla,Isaac and Phillip looked shocked. The three of them never know that their mother is the sister of this man over here.

"Its nice to meet you, sir." Phillip breaks down the ice and greeted him first.

"Its nice to meet you too, err.." Draco doesn't know who he is.

"Its Phillip sir. Phillip Malfoy." He introduced himself to Draco.

"Nice to meet you too, Phillip." He smiled.

"Isla, Isaac introduce yourself please." Lucy said.

"My name is Isla Malfoy, sir. Its nice to meet you." the white haired girl said.

"Nice to meet you Isla."

"I am Isaac Malfoy,sir. I've met you before, at the Slytherin Common room isn't that right sir?"

"Oh right yeah, My son has told me about you."

Isaac laughed shyly while scratching his head.

Draco turned to look at Caspian. Caspian is just looking down while stirring his soup all the time.

"Cas? Cas!" Lucy called.

Caspian looked surprised at the call and realized that it was time to introduce himself.

"I am Caspian Malfoy, sir."

He looked him in the eyes. Recalling, the first day he met him.

Draco smiled. "Hello Caspian, I am Draco Malfoy."

Caspian didn't smiled back.

Lucy felt the tension between those two. She know what Caspian feels at the time. It just break her heart to know this father and son can't reconcile. Its impossible, the father is married he has his own wife and son. How can she expect to get back with him, how can she expect to unite this father and son.

"Let's get eat everyone." Lucy said.

They started to eat. They eat quietly it's just that Isaac continues to talk about his life at Hogwarts. Isla and Isaac have different personalities even though they are twins. the nature of Isla is more calmer and silent but she drifts.She often more like Caspian she takes more actions than the talking. Different from Isla, Isaac he is more talkative and shows more behaviour as a child in general.

During the dinner, this was the first time Draco had felt the warmth of a Christmas dinner. A feeling that he had never felt before. A big family filled with the chatter of children, dinner made by the one he loves is very different from what he feels at the manor. In a dark and silent manor, he felt cold and empty even though he was accompanied by his wife and Scorpius he still feels empty at dinner. Scorpius is not as active as Isaac which can arouse the mood of the house. Scorpius is not as innocent as Phillip, who had been talking about his first year at Hogwarts. Astoria couldn't cook, she always told House Elves to cook. He is very grateful that tonight he can come here, he can taste Lucy's home-cooked food and he can meet and have dinner on Christmas Eve with his other son, Caspian.

After the dinner, the childrens is in the living room watching TV while Lucy and Draco is in the kitchen.Lucy makes a hot chocolate milk Draco that is suitable for drinking on Christmas Eve.

"I heard mother sent you an invitation to stay tomorrow at the manor." Draco started a conversation as he sat down on the stool while sipping his chocolate milk.

"Yes, it is true. I'm confused I have to accept it or not. To be honest, I'm not comfortable when I have to meet Astoria. Especially I have to stay overnight at the manor with my children." Lucy replied.

"It's been a long time since you returned to the manor. I'm sure mother misses seeing you at the manor. I'm also sure that mom misses her grandchildren." He pointed his finger at the children at the living room.

She nodded. "How's Scorpius?"

"He's fine, he's great. He always talk about Isaac and Isla. He talked about how Isaac always get detentions and Isla being the great Chaser." He explained.

"Isaac's still getting detentions?"

"Oops... Do I supposed to tell you this?"

"Yes Draco. Oh that boy is dead. Hahahaha"

"Hahahaha" the two of them laughs together.
