Into You Again [THE MALFOYS II]

8). A Starry Night

Tonight is a beautiful night, there are so many stars tonight. Lucy was on the roof looking at many stars and enjoying seeing them. The Malfoy siblings are asleep, but Lucy can't sleep tonight, she decides to get a fresh breeze. She remembers when she was a child when she was on school break she would go up to the roof of the manor and see the stars in the sky.

"I had expected you would be here."
She turned around looking at Draco approach her.

"Only you know my hiding place." She looked at the sky again.

Draco took a seat besides her.

"Can't sleep?" Draco asked.

"Nope." She shook her head.

Silence began to felt.

"Hey I am sorry for that time." Draco said.

"For which time?" She asked.

"That time at Hogwarts, when I yelled at you, defended Potter."

"Yeah I am used to that now."

Draco turned to look at her.

"How's life?"

"Its great, having 4 lovely children, got a decent job. What else could I ask for? How's yours?"

"Its been good I guess."

Awkward.

"Care to tell me why yesterday you go to our home?"

"Its Astoria. I fighted with her. I just don't want to be at home and I remembered you."

She nodded.

"So, you adopted three children?"

"Yeah I mean, they are our distant relatives children. How can I let them as Malfoys our pure-blooded kid wandering around in the middle of nowhere and tarnish our pureblood?"

"You still consider blood status is important?"

"I mean, we are Malfoy Dray. Since our ancestors untill now we are the known pureblood family. A Malfoy isn't a Malfoy if they aren't pureblooded. I am not discriminating against Mudbloods or what else, but I believe our family still thinks blood status is important."

He nodded.

"Why'd you name them Isla, Isaac and Phillip?"

"Isla means dynamic,brilliant,vibrant and bright as sun. Actually Mother picked her name. Isaac means a great joy while Phillip-"

"Your real father's name."

She looked at him.

"Right."

"And Severus?"

"Severus. Its from Severus Snape. My mentor. Our saviour,Dray."

Draco smiled.

"You're right he saved us that night."

"How's Isla, Isaac and Phillip?" He added.

"Isla, she is a lovely daughter. She's being a great sister. She can take care of her little brothers Isaac and Phillip. She understand a situation. She's more like an adult. Sometimes she acted like a kid because of her interest in Quidditch. Like I gave her Nimbus 2001 this morning, she really really happy. She could looked at it for a few hours. She can't wait to ride it in Hogwarts. She's a great witch and a great seeker for Slytherin. She's good at Potions and Herbology. Meanwhile, Isaac is completely opposites her. Isaac sometimes can be a grown up but most of all the time he acted like a total kid. Even Phillip is more grown up than he is. Isaac is bad at almost every subject at Hogwarts. But deep down, I know him. He just doesn't feel like it to study. And I know actually he has interests in Transfiguration and Charms. He always get detentions, McGonagall always writes me about his frequency of getting detention. But he loved his family that is all matters right? He's a great boy. Phillip, sometimes he's a bit clingy. Sometimes he likes to be shy meeting a new people. He liked hiding behind me all the time. He loved my cooking. He has interests at Magical Creatures and unfortunately he liked divination class. Can you believe that, Dray? You know I hate it when it comes to Divination. Its a boring class, with a weird studies, Professor Trelawney and her thick glasses, wasted so much time looking at a cup of tea. How can someone has an interests in it? I just let he be, cause he's a lovely boy." She explained nonstop.

Draco is astonished, he did not expect Lucy the one he attends Hogwarts with was still there with the same voice, she told her stories nonstop, she was very excited to talk what she liked. This is what Draco expects from Lucy, to talk freely without any hindrance, to think of Draco as before.as his friend, his sister, his best friend, his girlfriend. He missed the figure of Lucy who used to accompany his days at Hogwarts.

Draco just looking at her while smiling. Its kills Draco of how much he wanted to kiss her so much right now. He missed the old days at Hogwarts where he always sat down with Lucy on the side of the black lake and chatted untill the skies is dark.He missed attends to classes with her, he missed her mocks towards Harry Potter and his friends. He missed everything. Crabbe,Goyle,....Blaise? No. Not Blaise. He hated him, he was angry with him, he was angry because Blaise had touched his girl in seventh grade. Blaise openly challenged Draco at the time. Blaise defies Draco by told him to go away from Lucy's life.

"Hey do you hear me Dray?" She waved her hand in front of Draco's face.

"Oh yeah yeah I heard you loud and clearly. I mean yeah let he be, Its something he likes afterall."

"I know right, being a parent makes me lose more to my child.And I saw that in you,Dray. You've changed a lot."

"Yeah I think so too.You've changed too. But I think you still hate Potter."

"That guy? I don't know. Its hard to like him. Perhaps I am not a match with him since I was born.We dont walk the same path."

"I heard you worked with him though."

"Merlin's beard, I know right? It's such a disaster when I know I have to work with him. Why from all of the departments he has to work in Law Enforcement? He worked as head aurors before."

"So, that time when I met you for the first time after 13 years old you were preparing the meeting with him?"

"Yes true. Wait.. how did you know?"

"Your secretary told me. She knew about our relationship before. She knew I am your brother."

"Oh my goodness."

They chuckled together.

"About Caspian, how did he learn Sectumsempra?"

"I taught him, I taught my 4 children about that spell."

"Lu, they're still not enough ages to learn that."

"I know its just for protecting themselves."

"From what?"

"From people who hated us the Malfoy, the bad peoples, from anyone who had the intentions Dray. I just had to do that because I am a single parent, I can't be with them 24/7. They had to know what is come after them. They had to know the cruelty of this big world."

He nodded. He doesn't want to argue with Lucy.

"I saw Caspian's face that day, he has a cold glance. I recognise that cold glance before. Its the same glance I used to when sixth untill seventh year."

"Its your son,Dray. Of course he would have the same face and the same expression."

"He's more like me in general. But he's attitude he followed from you."

"What do you mean?"

"He seemed stubborn."

Lucy rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

Draco laughed.
