Honestly this chapter is going to be solely for my organizational purposes but I thought it would be cool to post because maybe someone is interested.

Playing With Fire;
Violet Huggins: Violet is a rebellious teen with bulimia and anorexia. These eating disorders stem from the years of body shaming she received from her mother while she was going through puberty. She has been hanging out with her older brother Belch (Reggie) and his friends since she was very young, due to trying to be away from the house as much as she could to avoid negative attention from her mother. She has a deep attachment to her father, clinging to him for protection and positive feedback that she so desperately desires from her mother. Her hyper sexual behavior appears after sleeping with Patrick at a party due to her desperation for said positive attention. Also I feel like Violet is definitely the type of person who is uncomfortable with emotions. She would only cry if it benefited her in some way, got her what she wanted, or if she was completely alone.
Song that goes with the story's desired aesthetic; Orange juice- Melanie Martinez

Pure;
Sage McAllister: Sage is your run-of-the-mill "church girl" she's never had anything bad happen to her in her entire life so when her parents decide to divorce and she is forced to move to Maine she is thrusted into a completely different environment. She may seem sweet but her temper is short. When she has made her mind up about some thing it is not going to change no matter what anyone tells her. Her overwhelming innocence can be a flaw, normal things that a teenage girl her age would know sometimes are foreign to her. She blindly allows her father to control her as if she is still a child while Henry try's to corrupt her.
Song that goes with the story's desired aesthetic; dollhouse- Melanie Martinez

Dead To Me;
Clover Anderson: A daddy's girl devastated by the death of her father. Now that he's dead she feels empty inside like she'll never be able to be truly happy again. This deep attachment to her father and the trauma from losing him causes her to seek male attention from the people around her. She seeks the same type of attention she used to receive from her father from the males in her life, making people say she has what some might call daddy issues. Patrick's unusual behavior and aggressiveness towards other males who approach her cause her to become infatuated with him.
Song that goes with the story's desired aesthetic; daddy issues- the neighborhood

Nightmares;
Poppy Moore: The daughter of a psychiatrist, poppy has severe PTSD from her mother attempting to kill her in a fit of psychotic rage. She grew up in England before being moved by her father to the United States into the town of Derry Maine. Not only did her mothers attack caused her PTSD it also offset severe anxiety which causes her frequent panic attacks sometimes over nothing. Due to the abuse that she endured as a child, she is in a constant state of fear of the people around her and what they might do to her if she angers them. The neglect for her mother also caused separation problems causing her to become heavily attached people quickly, doing everything she can to please them so that they won't leave her or abuse her like her mother did. These issues combined with the things she sees in Derry make her think she's slowly slipping into insanity just like her mother.
Song that goes with the story's desired aesthetic: bury a friend- billie Eilish.

Connected;
Ivy Miller: The "quieter" twin. Although being a twin is a huge part of her identity I think she would definitely be her own person no matter what anyone said. Has separation anxiety when she is away from Aspen, this stems from Aspen always being the one to speak for her when she didn't want to since they were little. She loves her sister more then anyone else in the world. Very sweet, always tries to make the best out of every situation. Not trusting of anyone except for her sister and her mom. Has a strange relationship with her father, she hates how he treats her mom and resents him deeply for it. Although she doesn't like her dad, at the same time she is still desperate for his attention, which she rarely receives. Very impulsive when she isn't with Aspen, just does whatever comes to her mind. Very quiet when she first meets people, but once she trusts you she will talk your ear off. Crippling candy addiction 😂 a psychotic attitude that comes out when someone does anything she doesn't like. (Watch out belch 🫣)

Aspen Miller: The "dominant" twin. Lover of dark art, she paints pretty gruesome pictures which Ivy doesn't like to look at. She thrives off of Ivys energy, she feels weird without her sister on her arm. She likes that her sister is quiet around others, she likes feeling needed. Hates her fathers guts with a burning passion. Never afraid to say what she is thinking often leading to being labeled a bitch. She gets tired of people quickly, making it hard to make friends. Not considered sweet, but she could be if she wanted to. Shortest temper in the world, when she's mad she sees red. Would do anything for her sister, ANYTHING.
