Ms. Maximoff was cleaning the kitchen when she heard a knock on the door. As she moved forward and unlocked it, she wondered if she should tell her son off for stealing again. You see, her children were not normal.

The first twin, her son, Peter, could go anywhere and do anything without being caught. The second twin, her first daughter, Wanda, inherited most of her looks from her mother, but she was more like their father when it came to her abilities. Then there was the youngest, Lorna Dane. She was only seven at the time, but Ms. Maximoff knew Lorna Dane would be a lot like her father when she got older.

When Ms. Maximoff opened the door she was expecting to see their neighbor Stanley. She knew that the twins had stolen the keys to his BMW and taken it for a joyride the night before. When she asked about it the next day, they pretended like it never happened. Instead of seeing Stanley, she saw three men. One was dressed like a hippie, one was dressed like a nerd, and the last just looked weird. She sighed and asked "What's he done now?" Two of the men shared a glance before she continued, "I'll just write you a check for whatever he took."

The hippie, whose name was Charles, pushed a pair of shades up the bridge of his nose and introduced the other two men as Logan and Hank. The scruffy weirdo, Logan, replied, "We just need to talk to him." Ms. Maximoff reluctantly nodded and let the men in. She hollered for her son as she shut the door. "Peter! The cops are here! Again!"

As they walked in, the nerd, Hank, noticed the middle of the doormat was worn down to nothing while the edges looked brand new. The three men entered the living room to find a seven year old Lorna Dane sporting a princess dress, wand, and tiara. She looked up at the man towering above her and questioned excitedly, "I'm a princess! Who are you?"

Logan looked down at the little girl and tried to smile, "I'm the Wolverine." Lona Dane's eyes widened. He looked around the room behind her then asked, "Where's your brother?" Lorna Dane pointed to the basement door.

The three men went down the stairs as Ms. Maximoff entered the room with a glass of wine. She looked at Lorna Dane knowing she would try and rope Ms. Maximoff into playing dress up. But before Lorna Dane could put a tiara on her mother's head, Ms. Maximoff sighed, "Go bug your sister."

Lorna Dane whined, "But she bugs me!" She took one last look at her mother before stomping up the stairs toward her sister's room.

Logan entered the basement first. Peter was playing pingpong with himself, speeding from one side to the other. Peter didn't even notice Logan was there until he walked up to the ping pong table. Peter looked at the men as he went from one end of the table to the other.

"What do you guys want?" he asked. Peter kept hitting the ping pong ball as Hank and Charles came down the basement steps. Hank walked up to the table moving his head back and forth, attempting to watch Peter.

"I didn't do anything." Peter declared.

Charles stood beside Hank, trying to figure out what he was seeing. Logan fought the urge to roll his eyes at the stolen junk littered around the room. Peter quit his game of ping pong, sped to the couch and laid down. He put his hands behind his head and said nonchalantly, "I've been here all day."

Hank and Charles turned, suddenly confused as to how Peter had gotten on the couch so quickly. Logan turned slowly to face the kid, completely unfazed by his sudden movements. Logan took a step forward,

"Just relax Pete were not cops."

"Of course you're not cops. If you were cops you wouldn't be driving a rental car."
