Chapter 22: Rage Of The Demon

Vulcan's Workshop

No POV:

The day was supposed to be easy go and recruit Vulcan to join company 8. However things did not go that way, Shinra and the others came to learn more about Vulcan and why he hates Haijima industry and the fire force. They learn about his dream to have animals come back to the world. Seeing that there wasn't any point in recruiting Vulcan, Shinra decided to leave and not force Vulcan. Things then proceeded to go from bad to worse.

Strange people start to attack Shinra and the others while also wanting to kill Vulcan. Iris goes went inside while Arthur faced off against them. Shinra ran to go get help but was caught by the captain of the 3rd Giovanni. Hibana arrived and saved Shinra. Giovanni's true motives were revealed. Things went from bad to worse, Arthur was still fighting outside but wasn't having any luck. Shinra was inside and was facing off against Lisa who was once believed to be a friend of Vulcan but in fact was working for Giovanni.

It seemed like all was lost and Giovanni was going to win. Shinra then remembered something very important. He stuck his hand out and a grey stream of smoke began to swirl around Shinra's hand. Giovanni was confused by what was going on. Shinra had his familiar grin on his face when he said "Y/N, we need you". Suddenly there was a giant eruption of smoke in the room. Out of that cloud of smoke appeared Y/N.

He looked over at his friends with Vulcan and Yu, he then he looked over at Giovanni and Lisa. "Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Y/N asked in an irritated tone.

Y/N POV:

I was having a conversation with the old man when I felt Shinra use my smoke marker. Immediately I teleported immediately to wherever he was. What I saw was that Iris was backed into a corner, Shinra looked like a mess and there was two new people that I had never seen before. My guess that the older guy was Vulcan but I didn't know who the kid was. I then looked over and saw another familiar face he was the weirdo who wore the plague doctor mask. If what Hibana told me was correct his name was Giovanni and he was the captain of the 3rd.

Him being here meant that my hunch about him not being one of us and that he was evil in some way was correct. I wanted to know what the hell was going on so I decided to ask. "Y/N you came" Shinra said "yeah you called and I came, now can you please tell me what was going on?" I asked irritated. "That guy is going to kill us" Vulcan answered getting up. "Cool, now I know who to kill" I said walking over towards Giovanni.

This girl who was with Giovanni tried to stop me and got in my way. Just looking at her I could tell that she had her own demons that she needed to work out. "I will let you off with a warning, I'm sure that ass clown has dug his way into your brain and you don't have your own thoughts and free will so I won't hurt you" I told her. "He's lying my dear kill him" Giovanni told the girl. "Whatever Giovanni says I must do, he saved me and I owe him" the girl said.

The girl then charged at me and tried to attack me but I was too quick for her. "Don't hurt Lisa" Vulcan said "can't make any promises" I replied. I began to create flames around me in a circle. The girl activated her flames, I could tell right away that her flames were magnetic. Luckily I had a special way of dealing with that. "Enenra subdue her for me" I said, a could of smoke appeared behind me and flew towards Lisa.

The others didn't know what was going on but I did. "Can I kill her?" Enenra asked whispering "We want Vulcan to join her so don't" I answered. I began to walk over to Giovanni again. I decided to use magnetic flames that I stole from Lisa. Giovanni noticed this and grew intrigued "I see the demon has learned a new skill" he said. "I'm glad you aren't blind, wouldn't want to kill a blind man" I replied.
