RM'S POV
I had a hard time looking for the main entrance because when I got here, I was already locked inside the glass prison. Fortunately, after 3 minutes of running around inside the building while trying my best to not get caught, I finally found the main entrance.
The main entrance's glass door and windows were packed with Corpses. It might be because of the alarm that we heard earlier and to top it off, everyone in the building seemed to be distracted by the fight not even realizing that the Corpses are already outside the building, banging on the doors and windows.
I check my watch to see if it was already time for me to open the doors but I still had 3 minutes. I stood infront of the door and waited for the time but then, out of the blue, someone suddenly appeared and walked towards my direction and said
"Yo! Watchu doin?! The fight is already startin'!"
I didn't move from where I was standing because I was thinking of ways where I can distract him. I didn't also want him to see what's outside because he might ruin the plan.
I can hear him coming closer so I didn't have any much of a choice but to turn around and face him but before I did, I check my watch and saw that I only had 1 minute left to get rid of him. When I turned around, he was already standing 3 feet away from me.
"Hey..."
It was meant to be stern but it came out as an awkward tone instead. I internally facepalmed my face because or how embarrassed I was.
If looks could kill, I'd be dead right now. The guy just stood there, staring at me suspiciously. I swallowed the lump in my throat and mentally prepared myself if ever he wants to start a fight. I was about to say something but then he replied
"So... you're not watching the fight? Because from the looks of if, you're not the fighter type of person. You're more like a nerdy type"
I was taken aback by what he just said. Did he just called me nerd?!
My eyebrows furrowed after hearing what he just said and he seemed to notice that I was not happy at what I just heard. He backed away slowly and laughed awkwardly then said
"Did you hear that? I best be going now hehe don't want to..you know..miss the fight..."
He scratched the back of his head as he backed away then quickly turned around and walked as fast as he could. I rolled my eyes when he was already out of my sight.
I went back to my position and checked my wristwatch only to see that I was already 30 seconds late in opening the door.
"Oh sht!"
I whispered to myself as I quickly went towards the door and grabbed the handles. The others might be worried sick right now!
When I pushed the handles, it was locked. I tried forcing it to open but it wouldn't even budge. I was now panicking and I can feel my palms getting sweaty. I was looking around to see if there was something that could help me break the locks on the door but unfortunately, I didn't find any. I went back to the glass doors and check the locks because there might be something that could help me unlock the doors.
After scanning the door, I noticed something...
It wasn't even locked! I got confused at first but then I realized that to open the door, I must pull it instead of pushing it...
I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed because I couldn't believe how dumb I felt after realizing that stupid mistake.
After THAT incident, I grabbed the handles and pulled it together. Before the corpses could even enter the building, I ran as quickly as possible away from the door and towards where the others were staying which was at the center of the building.
