Chapt. 40

"How did you convince me to go through with this?" Hiccup asked as they walked through the empty halls. It was lunch time, so everyone was either in the cafeteria or outside. No one was anywhere near the art room.

"Man, I'll never be able to thank you enough if this works,"

"If this works you're becoming my slave for life." Hiccup turned to Tooth, "Tell North and Sandy to get ready up there,"

She nodded and texted a quick message.

"Why do they have to be up there anyway? Couldn't you have turned on that part from before?" Bunny asked.

"I had to make that signal booster from old parts. I'm not sure how long it will hold up. I'd give ten minutes, maybe more, and I didn't want to risk it shorting or anything by turning it on to long before."

The arrived at the art room and Bunny let them in. Jack and Hiccup scanned the ceiling and pointed to a vent on the far wall.

"There, the other side should come out in the AV room,"

They move a table under the vent and Hiccup took off his back pack and climbed up. He asked for a chair, which Jack handed up to him. With the extra height he was able to reach the vent easily. He quickly removed it and passed the grate to Bunny.

"Once were in cover the vent again,"

"You sure,"

"Yeah, we can unlock the door from the inside so we'll get out through there,"

"Be careful," Tooth said.

"We will," Hiccup pulled himself into the vent. Jack handed him is back pack and climbed in after him.

"Good luck," Tooth said.

"Thanks and get out of here. We don't need you getting in trouble,"

It was short crawl through the vents and they were out in the AV room. Hiccup pulled a laptop out of his bag and started hooking it up to equipment.

"Tell North and Sandy I'm almost ready," He said as he pulled out his own cell. Jack called North and told him to get ready. Hiccup dialed a number too and put the phone on speaker and set it on the table as he continued to type. A male voice that Jack didn't recognize answered.

"We conferenced you in. You have both of us,"

"Hey, I'm almost set up over here. What about you two?

"Just a couple more minutes," A female voice said. Jack swore he heard the voice before.

"Okay, cool. Stay on the line. I'll tell you as soon as I'm ready," Hiccup said. He pointed to chair, "Get comfy Jack. You're on in a minute,"

Jack sat down and took a breath, suddenly nervous.

Elsa and her friends were eating lunch at their usual table when Hiro suddenly dropped down next to Elsa.

"Hey," He had his laptop opened and was typing quickly, he was wearing Bluetooth ear piece, "Just so you know you and you're boyfriend owe Tink and I big time for this,"

"What?" Elsa's eyes shot up, "What are you talking about?"

"You don't know what's happening?" Hiro asked.

"No,"

He smirked, "Then you're in for a surprise. Tinkerbell I'm in, you ready up there?" He said touching the ear piece.

"Up where? Where's Tink?" Anna asked.

"She's on the roof,"

"The roof?" Anna and Elsa asked at the same time.
