pain.

the next thing you who you wake up and payton is asleep next to you. you are feeling a little better when you wake up. you feel really sore but, you can sit up so you do. payton wakes up.

P | good morning sunshine.

y/n | morning baby.

he gives you kiss.

P | are you feeling any better?

y/n | i am.

P | you want me to get you some food.

y/n | no. i'm okay.

P | if you don't mind me asking... what happened last night?

y/n | i don't want to talk about it.

nick walks in the door.

N | can i come in?

y/n | yeah.

N | hey payton. how are you feeling y/n.

he sits next to you.

P | i'm going to get food i'll be right back.

N | okay.

*payton's POV*

y/n looks like she's in so much pain. i miss her smile. her jokes. last night felt so cold when i wasn't holding her in my arms. nick came in and she seemed a lot happier. i left so they could talk because i know nick knows her situation at home. she didn't want to tell me. i wonder why? i grabbed food and started heading back i saw her and nick laughing. it made me smile but at the same time i wasn't the one making her smile. i need to stop being so paranoid.

*back to y/n's POV*

talking to nick made you feel a lot better. nick has always been there for me.

N | remember the first night when you had to jump over to my room.

y/n | dude i could have missed that jump so easily.

payton walks in.

N | but you didn't. you did so good.

y/n | almost pro.

you laugh again.

y/n | hey payton.

N | sup dude. i'll give you two privacy. i was just coming to say good morning.

P | alright. see you around nick

N | for sure. hand hug.

you put your hand up and give nick a hand hug.

N | okay see ya.

y/n | bye nick!

he goes back to his room. payton sits back down next to you.

*time skip 1 week*

you can get up now. you are still sore and the cut on your hand is still wrapped. you wake up and you hear payton outside. you get up and walk outside. you see nick and payton fighting.

y/n | woah woah woah what the hell is going on here?

P | don't worry about it.

y/n | i already am so what the hell is going on?

N | payton was being nosy that's all.

y/n | about what?

you see pay to give nick a look.

N | your parents.

y/n | seriously payton?

P | really nick?

N | at least i'm honest with her!

P | really?

N | yeah? name one time i've lied to her.

P | telling her you no longer had feelings for her.

N | SHE KNOWS I HAVE FEELING FOR HER! i told her and you know what she told me. that's she loved you. she told me she was sorry. but she stayed true to your relationship and trusted you.

y/n | can you guys just stop. i can't deal with this right now.

you walk off. you sit by the pool for a few minutes. no one has come looking for you. you hear footsteps behind you. your turn around and see chase.

C | hey.

y/n | hey.

C | how are you feeling.

y/n | lonely

C | well i'm here now you can't feel lonely.

he sits next to you wrapping both arms around you, resting his head on your shoulder

y/n | i know. i'm just kind of upset.

C | about everything going on back there.

y/n | yeah.

C | what happened?

y/n | when you guys found me after my dad threw me out payton asked what happened. i didn't want to tell him but he wouldn't give it up and went to nick behind my back because he knew i told nick.

C | that was really shitty of him.

y/n | i know.

you fall silent for a second.

y/n | what are they doing now?

C | fighting.

y/n | i figured.
