midnight.

you wake up the next morning and you are still in payton's arms. you cuddle up closer to him. payton wake up in a few minutes.

P | good morning.

y/n | morning payton.

you give him a kiss.

y/n | shit!

P | what is it?

y/n | i'm be right back. i'm sorry.

P | what?

you run out the door into nicks room. he's playing video games with chase.

y/n | nick!

he takes his headset off.

N | yup.

y/n | i'm sorry. i fell asleep last night and we were supposed to go watch the stars. i feel terrible that i-

N | it's okay. i don't mind. did you work things out with payton.

y/n | yeah.

you sit down at the end of his bed. he puts his headset back on with one ear out.

N | how'd it go.

y/n | idk he just said he was jealous.

N | damn. i know i'm pretty damn cool.

y/n | shut up.

he laughs. you smile.

y/n | okay i'm going back to my place.

N | okay. you want to go out tonight?

y/n | uh yeah.

N | okay see ya.

C | bye y/n

y/n | bye chase.

you walk back over to your room and payton's on his phone. you sit back down on your bed.

y/n | sorry i had to clear something up with nick really fast.

P | that's okay.

y/n | sorry.

P | it's fine.

y/n | are you upset?

P | no.

y/n | are you sure?

he kisses you.

P | yes i'm fine!

you smile and pull his face back in. he sits up and puts you on his lap. you keep kissing intensely. you pull away.

P | what?

y/n | i love you.

he smiles. he's adorable when he's smiling.

P | i love you too.

you continue kissing him. after a long makeout session you lay back down in bed and watch movies while cuddling. you grab food from the fridge and head back. that's basically all you did that day. it was all you needed to get you and payton's relationship back on track though. you fall asleep next to payton. your alarm wakes you at 1:45. you slip out of your place and meet nick at the pool. he's just sitting there with his feet in the water.

y/n | hey.

he turns around.

N | hey!

he gets up and gives you a hug. he hugs you for an oddly long amount of time.

y/n | is everything okay?

N | yeah, why?

y/n | you seem off.

N | no i'm okay.

you let go of the hug and look at him. you see a longing in his eyes. one you had never seen before.

y/n | seriously, what's wrong?

N | nothing.

y/n | nick tell me.

N | i hate to be that guy but i miss you y/n. i miss us. so much. you care about payton so much. you guys get through everything and become stronger. i wish i would have fought more for you. i wanted to but i felt lost. but right now i want to tell you that i love you y/n.

y/n | i love you too.

N | really?

y/n | yeah.

you hug him. he looks at you.

N | can i kiss you?

in your head you were telling yourself no. you can't do that. you just made up. don't do this.

y/n | nick.

N | right. i'm sorry.

y/n | it's okay. really.

nick grabs your hips and smashes his lips against yours. you grab his face and kiss his slowly. he moves his hands up and down your back. you pull away. nick starts pacing.

N | i'm sorry. i'm sorry. what did i do. i just-

y/n | omg calm down.

N | payton's going to kill me again. what are we going to do?

y/n | tell him.

N | you can't!
