Another day, another Sunday. You woke up from your dream because you heard someone coming. You rushed to check who and then you remembered how you haven't tidy up the gifts your friends sent you. Your father won't appreciate how you left a mess in the living room.
"(Y/n) Ackerman. What is all this mess?" Levi frowned as he saw the gift wrappers everywhere.
"I'm sorry dad, it was-"
"I left the house for only a short moment and when I go back to rest here, it's a fucking mess." Your father is angered by it.
"I'm sorry, I'll clean it up now." You quickly took the boxes and the wrappers and threw it into the bin. You were about to vacuum the floor until your father clicked his tongue and get his coat.
"Forget it, I can't rest in a dirty house."
"But, Dad, it was my-"
*slam*
"Birthday..." You muttered under your breath as he slammed the door shut. That's it. What a gloomy Sunday, you thought to yourself.
You continued cleaning the room. Just to keep your mind busy. But you couldn't stay there for now. You wanted to go somewhere else. After washing your face, brushing your teeth, and changing your clothes you took your small (f/c) backpack and locked the door before going somewhere else.
You basically just wander around until you stumbled upon your uncle at a bookstore.
"Uncle Erwin-?!" You were surprised to see him.
"(Y/n)? Why are you here? Looking for school books?" He asked back.
"Y-yeah! What a coincidence! Thank you for your gift yesterday!" You bowed your head a little, thanking Erwin.
"Don't mention it. If you are free right now, do you want to get some ice cream or something?" Erwin smiled at you and you giggled.
"Sheesh, uncle, I'm not a little child anymore though that doesn't sound too bad." You accepted his offer.
The two of you went to a nearby cafe and there you ordered a (favorite flavor) parfait while he only ordered a coffee. He said it's his treat today. You ate your parfait in joy. Sometimes, Erwin would occasionally take you out like this. You are already like a real niece or even a daughter to him.
You sometimes wondered why Erwin hasn't married anyone yet. Based on your own judgment, Erwin is attractive. He is highly intelligent too and his position at work is even higher than your father. To be frank, ever since your mother passed away, Erwin was your father figure growing up. He never even once forget your birthday, he even went to your school plays or festivals with Hange, Hange and Erwin were also the first ones who found out when she first started her period, though it was because that time they were there and (Y/n) didn't notice how her pants have a red spot.
"If only I was born as your daughter." Unconsciously, (Y/n) blurted out.
"What do you mean, (Y/n)?" Erwin asked, totally taken aback by her sudden words.
"...Ah-! Nothing! Sorry, that was a strange thing to say." (Y/n) hides her awkwardness by continuing to eat her parfait.
Erwin was suspicious of it, but he soon dropped it, thinking maybe he misheard something. You two hang out with each other after that, he really spoiled you that day. He said he didn't have any urgent matter so he took you around and bought you things he knows you wanted, such as (insert something you want here). You politely said no at first, feeling bad at how he keeps paying for everything. But, Erwin told you to not think of it. He does it because he wanted to. He told you stories about Hange and Levi. He even told you stories about your mother, something which Levi chose not to tell you.
