Today when I was returning home I happened to hear a weird conversation between 2 youngster.
I slowed down to better understand the subject of their conversation which was about the role of women.
The guy who was barely 16 was telling this girl that despite evolution women are still backwards that giving them a chance to evolve is a waste of time because men like him can better rule the world and that women should remain where they are that is at home because they do not have a significant role.
To be honest I was shocked beyond words.
How can a teenager, who was born out of a woman, decide that the role of a woman should be limited to the kitchen?
How can a teenager claim that we women do not have a significant role?
We look after our house, we care for the family, we manage the house and the office at the same time.
We look after our babies while managing both husband and office.
We, who are the reason why the term multitasking was invented, are still considered as inferior to men.
Why?
We leave our house when we get married.
We have to undergo the pain of childbirth.
We manage family and work.
Despite all the wonderful and amazing work we do, people still disrespect us because we are considered as inferior.
So to all those who disrespect women; The day you step in our shoes, that day you will realise what is it to be a woman.
