Lucas's house reminded me of a modernized cabin. It seemed smaller on the outside than what it was on the inside.
"Mi casa, et su casa" said Lucas with a smile from cheek to cheek as he quickly grabbed my arm and swiftly moved me across the porch and into his house. "What's going on?" I asked as I looked around the main area of his house, "It's a full moon" replied Lucas before he grabbed a large wooden pillar to barricade the door.
"So, how many werewolves are there?" I asked as I looked around his house, seeing how simple everything and how coordinated everything was. "Well, it's me and all my siblings" he explained as I could see in his eyes, how badly he thought about explaining the entire history about himself, but kept it short and simple for my liking.
"So, you're telling him all of our secrets now..." said Anthony as he walked down the stairs, only wearing a towel to cover himself with as he walked over to the kitchen to grab himself a glass of water.
"Hello again" he said as he gave me a nod and chugged the glass of water he had made himself. "Hey" I said with an awkward smile before Lucas brought me upstairs to where all of their bedrooms were.
"Did you meet anyone on the way?" asked Anthony as he followed us up the stairs and into Lucas's bedroom. "We met Nita, but not Marcus though" replied Lucas as he covered his windows and prepared his bed for two people to sleep in.
"Why do you smell like you've been with a..." said Anthony but was quickly stopped by Lucas who dove over his bed to cover Anthony's mouth. "Smell like what?" I asked as I looked at the two of them, both in shock as if he was about to say something he wasn't supposed to.
Lucas pushed Anthony out of the room, closing the door behind him as they walked out the room.
Curiosity got to me and I leaped over the bed to see if I could hear what they were talking about through the door. "Don't talk about the Crane family around him, he can't know about them" was the last thing I heard from Lucas, just before he opened the door and accidentally hit me as he did so.
"Ouch!" I squealed as the door slammed on to my head, "Oh! Are you ok?" frantically asked Lucas as he helped me up of the floor and sat me on the bed, examining the damage the door had done to me.
"How did you control yourself tonight?" asked Anthony as Lucas continued to examine the minor scratch that I got. "Was it that stupid necklace? Was dad right to give you them?" asked Anthony as he continued to pressure Lucas to reply to his questions.
"Here, I'll get you some ice and something to clean the scratch mark you have," said Lucas as he pushed aside Anthony to get to the downstairs.
Anthony bend down as well and examined the minor scratch I had gotten on my forehead, which was now pulsing, and it felt itchy. "It was the necklace" I replied as Anthony looked at me in confusion, "He controlled himself using the necklace" I continued to explain as I tried to get him to understand.
"So, the necklaces worked for him?" asked Anthony was almost seemed astonished in a way. "But that was after he threw me around like a rag doll" I added and saw him grin before he started laughing, "That's messed up!" he said as he continued to chuckle.
I chuckled as well, seeing as how stupid it must've looked like when I was thrown around.
"What are you laughing at?" asked Lucas as he ran back up the stairs with some rubbing alcohol and a Band-Aid, "Just that you casually attacked your boyfriend" replied Anthony and left both Lucas and I stunned as we looked at each other.
"We're not dating" replied Lucas as he grabbed a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol on it, gently pressing it on my sore. "shsss" I hissed as the rubbing alcohol stung like a thousand needles.
