Hey guys! Sorry this update took so long. I've been mostly working on my other stories (you can check them out in my profile if you want ;)

But just to let you know, my Ross story, 'Heart Made Up On You' is going to be my top priority for updates, so this story will have slow updates until I finish my first story.

And lastly, before you start reading, just to remind you this chapter is in FIRST PERSON as I'm trying to figure which POV will better suit this story :)

Without further ado, enjoy!!

Five shot glasses later, I was starting to feel the buzz of the alcohol.

"What about that guy?" Rachel nodded, drawing our attention over to the bar where a middle-aged guy sat alone. He had jet black hair slicked back with not a hair out of place and he was dressed in a tailored grey suit. From the way he was hunched over on his stool, he likely had a bad day and was drinking away his problems. The guy looked rather out of place to be hanging out in a bar in my opinion.

Amber wrinkled her nose in distaste, "No, too depressing. He wouldn't be much fun."

Since we were seated at one of the tables near back of the room, away from the loud speaker system and dancing bodies, it was easier to be heard.

"But I bet he's rich," Rachel said dreamily, still eyeing the guy like he was a piece of meat, "Filthy rich."

Jen rolled her eyes at her friend. "Get over yourself, Ray. The guy obviously has a wife. Maybe kids, too."

Rachel tore her eyes away long enough to pout at her, "How do you know?"

Jen raised her hand, pointing to her own finger, "Well, the flashy ring on his finger is a dead giveaway."

"I've hooked up with a married guy before," Rachel answered, like it was no big deal.

"Of course you have," Jen muttered and catching my eye, she discreetly nodded in Rachel's direction, making the "crazy" gesture.

I grinned in response.

"He's not the only guy in the room, you know," Amber spoke up.

The table fell into a brief silence as the three girls scoured the room for likely bachelors. I, on the other hand, just sat back in my seat, leaving it up to the girls with their so called matchmaking skills. Honestly, the only thing that I could focus on at the moment was the awful feeling in my stomach after drinking all those shots.

Jen's eyes were scoping out the tables behind me when her eyes widened suddenly.

"What about that guy?" She said in a low voice.

"Why are you whispering?" Rachel questioned loudly, following Jen's gaze.

Jen immediately hushed her and gave a discreet nod of her head, "See that blonde guy sitting at the table behind us? I noticed him staring over here for the last ten minutes, and he's still staring," A slow smirk spread across her lips,
"At 'Kae."

I couldn't help but perk up at the mention of my name, "What? Who? Where?"

I quickly turned in my seat, glancing over my shoulder at the table Jen had discreetly gestured to.

Seated at the table were three young and equally good-looking guys. Two of the guys, both with dark hair, were laughing about something as they sipped their beers.

And then I froze when my gaze landed on a pair of striking eyes and it was like a mini explosion went off in my stomach. His eyes were dark in the dim lighting of the bar, so it was hard to tell what color they were from this distance.
