Its been two weeks since we went to lulama home. I woke up feeling defeated as I don't sleep since i have so many nightmares. I walked to the kitchen and found my mom making porridge and singing.
Me: Hello mama( hy mom)
Mom: molo ( hy) i dragged the chair and sat down and she dished up for me. I ate and when I was done she placed a piece of paper on the table with a number scribbled on.
Me: what this mama?
Mom: this is a number to a guy that can help you find Lulama. I got excited.
Me: you mean an investigator?
Mom: if that what they are called than yes i mean that. I jumped out of the chair and hugged her tight. She has been nothing but supportive in everything that i have been through and has always been there. Bless I am to have such a mother so i took the paper and called the number fast.Lulama
Its been the most amazing two weeks of my life so I finished dressing up and took my overnight bag. Today is the first day that Ill be seeing his house and sleeping over. All along we have been going out every other night and sometimes he comes and we chill in his car for hours talking than he goes home. I checked myself one last time and took the bag and went downstairs. I opened the tap and had some water than my phone vibrated and I checked to see Dika.
Me: babe?
Dika: uryt? ( you okay)
Me: yeah am nervous
Dika: you going to be fine, text me if you want me to fetch you or you feel uncomfortable?
Me: yeah i will thanks babe and I have the pepper spray you gave me so am sorted.
Dika: good okay babe. She hung up and I got a text from J.T. I walked out with my bag as he came closer and hugged me than open the door for me than left to the boot with my bag and came in front.
J.T: Hi. He gave me one of his goofy smiles. I smiled automatically.
Me: Hy
J.T: you good?
Me: yeah am good.
J.T: same, anything in particular you need us to order that you might like to have?
Me: No. what the plan for dinner?
J.T: i was counting on you to pick the place for us. We can sit in or drive thru or...
Me: we can try Chinese and wine.
J.T: olryt, I know a place that sell the best food ever. He put the car on drive and placed his hand on my thigh and I noticed that this has become a thing for him. I smiled enjoying the feeling his hand heat was sending to my body.Duma
I looked at the information that my new client sent me and I saw that it was the same girl that my boss had me investigate a few weeks ago. I took out my phone and called J.T and he picked up after two rings and automatically i knew am on a car speaker.
J.T: yeah
Me: boss, an sending you a text right now
J.T: if it requires an answer I won't get back to you today. Okay now that made me brush my head in frustration cause I don't know who he is with in the car or he might be with the girl right now.
Me: boss, its kind of urgent. I heard him sigh.
Me: its about the club project that you had me do a few weeks ago involving video footage. I hinted hoping he caught on.
J.T: oh okay I get you, what about the project.
Me: I have a client that requires me to give them the project location and information about the project.J.T
I shifted in the car seat as I wondered if Lulama is catching on the conversation or not cause this call is about her.
Me: okay stall until tomorrow, find out more about the person who wants to know about my project, i cant do business with a person I dont know.
Duma: okay ... sharp
Me: sho. I hang up and shifted and looked at Lulama nervously. She didn't say anything and We drove in silence.
Me: Am sorry, that was kind of work
Lulama: I heard.
Me: Yeah. You good?
Lulama: Uhm... dont mean to pry but "the project" sounded like a person? She turned and looked at me with piercing eyes and that kind of made me uncomfortable.
Me: I own a club. I hope that makes her relax.
Lulama: oh okay
Me: sometimes husbands call in wanting to know about they wives and I have to investigate to see if they have good intentions or they just malicious.
Lulama: Oh i see. Now that made me more crazy with nerves since I didn't know what she thinking. I did tell her the truth that i own the club and yes sometimes i do investigations in regards to wives stepping out on they marriages with they husbands. I looked at her and she smiled but her smile didn't reach her eyes.
Me: am sorry but you sure you okay?
Lulama: an supper nervous, she laughed nervously.
Me: me too. We both laughed nervously and somehow that made things much less tense in the car......
