"And just as the Phoenix rose from the ashes,
she too will rise.
Returning from the flames,
clothed in nothing but her strength.
more beautiful than ever before."

Amelia Novak, the girl who destroyed the fourth floor of the Brooklyn public library. Most people would be ecstatic to find a true purpose in their life, but Amelia only felt fear. To be pushed into a life she knew nothing about wasn't what she wanted. Her friends meant well, neither knew the consequences that would follow.

Now her life was split. One half as the beloved Amelia Novak to family and friends; the other as The Phoenix, the hero of New York City. It's anything but easy to balance the two, but Amelia tried her best.

Thankfully Amelia wouldn't have to experience this life alone, as another new hero's upbringing was right around the corner. The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man was coming; someone who could understand the struggle Amelia faced. The only thing she had to decide was to accept her new life or fear it.
