Chapter 10- Another Wound

Elena's shrieks filled the whole room. Her blood had been taken by all 3 of the Salvatore siblings now. But only unwillingly by her. The youngest and obviously most uncontrolled. The pain was only for a few seconds. But it was enough. Elena felt like her soul was being ripped out of her.

Elena gasped and her eyes flew open. She saw Tyler dragging Daisy off her, Damon pushing her backwards snarling at her. Damon's face was filled with rage, anger and menace. It was like he forgot who he was and who everyone else was. Daisy was still struggling, fighting to drink more of Elenas blood. Sage picked Elena up and moved her away from Daisys reach then ran back to help Tyler restrain Daisy and keep Damon from ripping her head off.

What happened next shocked Elena to the core. Damon grabbed one of the many wooden chairs and snapped a leg off. Then he ran at this sister once again, poised, ready to stake her through the heart. Without thinking Elena got up and ran to the commotion. She wedged herself between Damon and Daisy, facing Damon. She didnt care that the girl who had tried killing her 30 seconds before was standing a centimeter behind her. Daisy seemed to have got control over herself. She heard a whimper escape from the little girl.

"Damon! Stop. Shes your sister and you will never forgive yourself if you hurt her. I wont let you forgive yourself! Please, enough now. Im fine, everythings fine." Elena pleaded and to her delight Damon lowered the stake, blinked and let out a deep breath.

"But its not fine though is it Damon?" snapped Daisy with a dark look in her eyes. "Cause we all know what you just did. Tried to stake your own sister for a human? for our dinner. Its in our nature to suck them dry and your turning away from it. I should have listened to Stefan, he was right you are pure evil. You always say Stefans the weak one, but its always been you Damon!" with that Daisy snatched the stake from him and put it through his leg.

"There add that to the collection of wounds you have on your body for her. I though now Katherine is gone you would be back to normal again, but no. Cause along comes another Katherine." With that Daisy dropped the stake to the floor and ran off with Tyler chasing after her.

"Damon are you okay? What did she mean the other wounds on your body cause of me?" Elena cried out.

"Yes, just a little scratch. Mother was always right. Me and Stefan spoiled her to much and now shes turned into a monster. Shes turned into me."  Damon spat the last word out.

"Well Damon, you tried to stake her. She was starving and you know what thats. I know what thats like remember? I was a vampire for a few days. You tried to kill your own sister Damon. Thats low even for you!" remarked Elena. She needed to get across how bad the situation was so that Damon could start fixing it.

"I just forgot! I was trying to protect you and I forgot that after a 3 centurys my sister was back again and I have to look after another life besides yours, Stefans, Bonnies and Merediths. But she was going to kill you Elena!"

"And you were going to kill her Damon! Imagine if you had. How could you of lived with yourself?"  argued Elena.

"I wouldnt have. I would have staked myself straight after. I suppose I should go fix this before she goes and does something reckless." sighed Damon.

"Oh Damon one last question. What did Daisy mean when she said 'other wounds I have given to you'?" questioned Elena.

Damon winced. "I dont know. It dosent matter. Shes just confuessed. I will talk to her about it." said Damon.

"But Damon she said that I..."

"Elena I said I will talk to her now just leave it!" snapped Damon then he stormed off. But not before Elena saw a look of pain shoot across his face when someone touched his back as they walked past...
