19. Family reunion

"-- and five more. Even if you ask daddy, he saw me." Omrie bubbles on to the king about how he killed five squarells and more stupid things. Louis have been trying to quite him down but the boy is as bone headed as his daddy.

"So, Harry." The king said putting his attention on his son. "You're a wizard too now?"

"I do a little magic yeah. Not much." Harry said bowing his head.

"Interesting." Des said gulping his wine down and asking for refill. "Lewis,--"

"Yes your majesty." Louis said bowing down.

"You kidnapped my son and turn him into a wizard." Louis just looked down. "Answer me when I talk to you."

"You didn't ask a question." Louis said boldly. "Your highness."

"Louis." Harry whispered warnigly at Louis.

"Sorry." He breathed out.

"Why bring him back? Why now that you corrupted him with your evilness and lack of behaviours. Like this monkey right here?" The king said pointing at Omrie. "And the awkward one that i ain't sure even talks." He said looking at Tomika.

"Don't you dare say shit about my kids." Louis dared. "If anyone in this room is evil I'm voting you. Unlike you, I've never hurt nobody. You're the one responsible for innocent deaths. Not me."

"If I were you I would watch my mouth." The king growled louder standing up his hands harshly grabbing the table.

"Or what?" Louis stood up too.

"Louis." Harry warned hurrying to stand beside Louis putting a ressuring hand on his shoulder.

Tomika got off her chair and went to sit on Louis' lap hiding her face in the crook of his moma's neck.

"Dinner is served." A man with an italian accent said putting the food on the table with a few helps, Lena being one of them. She's so grown now and Louis fought an urge to pull her in a hug and tell her how much he misses her. "Bon apetit."

"Edwards? Would you join us please?" Des said out loud. Perrie appeared out of nowhere her face cold as she take a seat facing Louis. She also look much more older and way more beautiful to be a witch. Louis gave her a tiny smile that was not returned.

"Let's not just sit here with tummies rumbling, let's dig in." Anne said in the uncomfortability of the room. She have been quite until now. "So, where have you been living?"

"Um-- in a place far far away, abandoned in er-- really beautiful trees and cute little animals." Harry explained.

"Yeah, the cute little house in between the hills." Omrie popped in.

"A wizard living in hills, how original." Des commented his eyes set on Louis.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Louis asked  hurt.

"Nothing." Des shrugged. "Just hoping you won't swap your children's gender to take advantages of poor other kids."

"No no no, we are teaching them to be spoilt brats and burn people alive when they are created tge way they don't want. You must be proud." Louis said sarcastically.

"You were not born like that, your father changed you." The king argue.

"And how is that my fault? How am i responsible for what my dad did huh? If anything, I am a victim." Louis complained.

"You took advantage of my son!" Des argue back.

"Your son took advantage of me. He threatened me into sleeping with him."

"My son would never do something like that."

"Ask him. He is right there."

"You think I will trust anything coming out of your mouth? Who knows, you could have changed his gender just like your father did with you."

"Ooohhh, for the love of God, I am not my father. It's time you realise that, but no, you're too caught up in your ego to realise we are two different people." Louis said handing Tomika a piece of stake but the little girl shook her head no.

"Call in a maid." The king said to one of the guards. Within a few minutes, Lena walked into the room.

"You called for me your highness." Lena asked quietly as respectful as Louis remember he once was too.

"Take the kids to their rooms will ya? There's something I want to discuss with the parents."

Lena held up Omrie who was quick to stand up with a drumstick.

"Come with me darling." Lena said making grabby hands to Tomika who hid her face deeper into Louis neck shaking her head no.

"It's okay." Louis assured her already read Lena's mind that she wasn't planning on hurting them or worse, set them on fire. "You'll be okay. Mummy will see you in a few. Yeah?"

"Okay." Tomika shrugged standing up and Let Lena drag her out of the room.

"Wizard." Des called looking at Louis.

"Dad, I know you're not fond of Louis but you don't need to act like that with him. He isn't as bad as you put him."

"Oh baby, I am bad." Louis said.

"Will you shut up. I'm trying to get you a free pass here."

"Maybe you shouldn't. Not everything deserve a free pass."

"What is wrong with you and this bitchy attitude lately. It's kinda getting in my nerves."

"I don't want you to force your dad to like me Hazza. He's going to like me if he wants to like me. Which I'm sure is never."

"Wow. Less than an hour and I got a glimpse of your relationship." Des chuckled. "You lost your tittle son? Is this how servants treat you now?"

"Can I talk to Louis in my room please?" Harry said standing up.

"Of coarse." Louis said standing up. "Your highness." He added exaggeratedly.
