I flung up in the hospital bed as if waking up from a bad dream because that's all this is.

It has to be. Everything I saw and see is unreal.

All around me still stood the 7 men. V stood closest, his hand under his chin and his finger tapping rapidly on his lips.

They all looked so serious...and shocked?

I couldn't help the laugh that bust out of my mouth. I couldn't stop laughing no matter how much I covered my mouth and closed my eyes. I had no idea what the fuck was happening. Everything that just happened felt to real to be a dream, but is had to be right? You can't come out of a tree, you can't dive into someone's head and you sure the hell can't have wings.

All seven of them stand watching me as I slide out of the bed and get my laughing under control. Finally being able to think clearly, I look at V and say, "I don't believe this."

V  let out a fustrated groan and flicked his hand out toward me.

A scream lodged in my throat as my feet left the ground and I was left floating in mid air.

V walks toward me, huge black wings that I saw in that memory expand from his back. They were so large. The feathery tops just brushed the ground and arched a foot over his head. They would stretch easily across the room if he spread them wide.

I had to be still dreaming, everything was just to impossible.

He stopped in front of me and grabbed my hand. I tried to pull back but it was as if an invisible rope held my hand towards his.

I could only watch with wide eyes as his nails began to grow, his eyes turning slightly darker and wider. Suddenly he scratched me so fast and deeply. Blood welled up and spilled to the floor. Pain spread throughout my arm but I and no time to focus on that.

"V," one of the ones on the wall shouted.

"Watch." V said sternly to me and pointed at cut. Slowly, my skin began to seal back together, becoming nothing more than skin covered in drying blood. The cut healed just as fast as it happened.

"You see? You see everything? Everything you saw in your head is true and more. Since I saved you," V paused, he jaw gritting together, "You will have to stay with us for awhile till we can figure out what it is you will be gifted with."

"So your saying that when you supposedly saved me, you ended up giving me....gifts? And that you aren't human and you are something else?," I say and eye his wings.

"When I saved you with my blood, yes, I gave you gifts. You won't be able to control them unless I teach you, that's why you are coming with us," he says and nods to the others.

My head trys to wrap around everything that has happened. As a child growing up, you only hear stories of things like this happening and ultimately you know it's not true....but here it is happening. It can't be a dream, the pain of the cut was too real. Why did this have to happen to me? And how could they expect me to just go with them?

"My family though, I-I can't just disappear. I have a job and frien-" I yelped as I dropped to the floor with a thud. Finally I was in control of my body again. V's wings disappeared along with his long nails, his eyes fading back to normal.

Namjoon stepped forward, "You are a journalist right?"

"Yeah, but-" I start to say.

"Your boss was contacted early about you taking a business trip to Seoul to shadow and report about the group BTS for a month. And as for family, you can now inform them of your trip to Seoul."

I could only sit there with my jaw dropped open. I stand up and dust my pants off. I sadly looked at my blood stained coat and wondered how I got here and what my choices where. I could go with them and call everyone later to make sure everything was actually as they said and if what V says about me having some freakish abilities now is true, it would be smart to learn them. Or, I could make a run for it and pretend none of this shit happened.

Taking a deep breath I pointed at the door, "Lead the way."

Namjoon steps in front of me, "Jhope, come make her take a black promise about our identity and her new one. The rest of us will take care of her hospital records."

Namjoon turned and walked out the hospital door, all the others but V and one of the other men that I assume is Jhope following after him. Slowly V looked aways from me and finally walked out the door, shutting it with loud click.

"Your Jhope? " I asked the one who now stood in front of me. He was rather handsome, just like the others. He has a rather long face which would make him look quite masculine in certain angles and wide down turned eyes that showed his asian heritage quite beautifully. And the way he smiled at me now made him look warm and inviting, not like he was about to do that black promise thing Namjoon said.

"Yes. I go by many names but you can call me what ever you would like." The name Jhope seemed like it fitted his personality. His bright yellow bucket hat and multicolored sweater and jeans all screamed happy and hope.

"So uh, this black pro-"

"Don't worry," he says with a chuckle, "The name makes it sound worse than it is. It's basically a promise that you literally can't break. If you promise not to tell anyone about our identity, then you physically won't be able too until I realease you from your promise."

All thoughts of trading blood and witch craft left my head.

"You mean I won't be able to say anything at all?"

"Our identity must stay hidden. The world knows us as BTS. The world famous Korean boy band. There are people out there that know our true identity and would love to kill us, hiding as BTS is the safest thing to do."

I raised my eyebrows. "Doesn't that make you more noticeable? And the tour bus crash didn't seem like an accidental crash, it was deliberate."

"I love how fast you pick up on things," he laughed. "It was deliberate. It seems that someone has found out about us, but it will all be handled. Nothing to worry about."

I just nodded my head. It seems like I'm getting myself into something I'm going to regret later.
But the only good choice was to make the promise and really figure out what is happening.

"Okay, how do I do this promise?"

He smiled and stuck his hand out to me. Slowly I put my hand on his. "Just repeat these words," I gulped nervously, "I promise by the black ashes that fall that I shall not tell another soul about the real history of BTS or any of the events that happened today in any form. May the black ashes seal my promise with honor."

I quickly repeated what he said and slowly something felt like it was coating the inside ofy throat. Coughs racked my body as I tried to breath. Slowly the feeling went away. That was one hell of a promise.

"Shall we?" Jhope opened the hospital door and waved outside.

Excepting my fate, I walked out the hospital room.
