Chapter 36 ( Protect )

A knife suddenly strike Giyuu from behind. He barely dodge it as it left a small scratch on his cheek. Giyuu quickly locked Shinobu in the car using his remote key. The unknown person rapidly swung. Each strike got faster and faster with mix of his bloodlust. Giyuu manage to land a kick on him causing him to back off with a great distance. Giyuu had a lot of scratches in his body.

He noticed Shinobu panicking inside the car. "Kocho call the cops now!" He shouted.

The unknown person took advantage of the distracted Giyuu. He quickly ran to him as he kept flipping his knife and swinging rapidly to him. Giyuu couldn't go offense as he need a hard defense since the guy had a knife. It looked like he was an expert of using it.

The guy soon notice Shinobu contacting on her phone. He quickly threw the knife at the car's window. Shinobu drop her phone as she got startled by the knife sticking inside the window. She quickly searched her phone to where it drop.

The guy started to run towards the car. Giyuu quickly followed from behind. As the guy was about to grab the knife. Giyuu quickly did an Axe Kick. The guy dodge as he manage to grab his knife. Giyuu took his leg off leaving a huge dent on car.

He quickly went into fighting stance as he hop with his arms up.

The guy quickly switch the position of blade of the knife. He charge in with a straight attack as he forwarded his knife.

Giyuu already know this trick. He quickly dodge it then grabbing the guy's arm. Pulling him as he charge up for a punch. He then landed it in the face causing him to back off as he drop the knife to cover or hold his face in pain. Giyuu then grab his head as he knee kick his face rapidly. The guy reach for Giyuu's shoulders. Giyuu quickly grab his arm pulling him. He made him flip while holding his arm then smashed him on the ground.

The guy was now unconscious on the floor.

Giyuu huffed in exhaustion then slowly walked back to Shinobu as he grunted in pain. He unlocked his car using his remote key. Shinobu quickly got out and went to him.

"Did you call the cops?" He asked.

Shinobu shook his head. "There's no service." Shinobu said as she trembled.

"I think he did it..." Giyuu said but was shocked when he turned.

The Guy was already in front of him. He then kick Giyuu from the side causing him to back off far away from them leaving Shinobu to him.

Shinobu tried to escape but was punch in the stomach. He kneeled down as she held her stomach.

"Don't worry... This will be over soon sweetie." He whispered to Shinobu.

He then look at Giyuu who was currently trying to catch his breath as he held the place where he got kicked.

The Guy then held out a Katana. Excitement can be seen in his rainbow eyes behind his mask.

Giyuu readied once more. The guy then charged at him with full of bloodlust as he swung his sword at him.

"What's wrong? I thought you were good with defense!" The guy yelled then pierced the blade through Giyuu's shoulder.

Giyuu took advantage of this. He held both of the guy's shoulders then smashed his head to his. The two backed off but the guy removed the Katana from his shoulder.

Giyuu kneeled down as he held his pierced shoulder. His breathing got heavier. He lost control of his body as he can't even stand up. "I'm done for at this rate..." He said in his thoughts.

"Your one hard guy to kill Giyuu..." The guy said as he swung his sword to remove the blood.

"H-How...do you know me?!" Giyuu asked.

"It's simple actually...We see each other everyday!" He said.

"The f*ck is he talking about?" Giyuu said as he think to who might be the suspect.

The guy slowly walk towards him. Giyuu slowly got up. He's breathing got heavier as he stood up. Before he knew it the guy was already in front of him.

"Too slow!" The Guy said as he duck and side kick both of his legs

Giyuu then drop on the ground. He grunted in pain as fell on the ground. He was then dragged by car to where Shinobu is. He then slammed Giyuu on the car and grab Shinobu as they face Giyuu.

"Now you get to watch on how I'll kill Giyuu!" He said as he putted Shinobu down.

He was about to swing the katana through Giyuu but he felt someone grab hold on his legs.

"Stop! I'll do anything but just... don't kill him!" Shinobu cried as she begged.

"Your so cute when you beg! But sorry...!" The Guy said then suddenly turned to Giyuu and swung his katana at him.

"Stop!" Shinobu yelled at she cried.

"Looks like...this is the end..." Giyuu thought as he everything was in slow motion. He slowly closed his eyes. "I'm sorry...my beautiful butterfly..."

"Did I die? Why haven't I felt the pain? Why hasn't he killed me yet?"

Giyuu opened his eyes. The blade was an inch away from his neck. He saw the Guy's arm was being held by someone.

"Shieda-san!" Shinobu shouted.

"Let me g-"

Zed showed some kind of wallet that made the Guy panicked in fear.

He dropped the katana and tried to escape but Zed grip tighter.

"Just so you know...I know who you are and I'm aware of what you are but remember...do this again and you'll regret to why your even born in this world." Zed said menacingly as red glowing eyes began to appear in his mask.

He then let's go of him. He quickly ran but then heard sirens ahead of him. He then ran the other way as he climb up to some walls.

Zed help Shinobu get up and carried Giyuu on his back with the help of Shinobu. They soon met Sanemi who just arrived. He was wearing a police outfit.

"Tch. I was very late...Dammit!" Sanemi yelled in anger.

"Spare me your anger but drive us to the nearest hospital Giyuu needs treatment right away." Zed said to him.

"Get in." Sanemi said as he entered in the driver's seat.

Zed slowly putted Giyuu then letted Shinobu sit next to Giyuu. They then drove off.

"Care to explain?" Sanemi said as he look at the mirror above him.

"When we arrive..." Zed said as he look out of the window. The anger was leaking out but he doesn't wanna show it.

"Tomioka-sensei I'm sorry..."
