Ryujin looked out the window of the steady vehicle, her eyes trailed objects that passed by. Her chin was being held up by the palm of her hand.

"Are we there yet?" Her sister, Yuna, asked their tired parents. Her gazed switching from one parent, to the other.

No answer.

Before Yuna could ask them again, Ryujin kicked the side of her calf, glaring at her. Yuna rolled her eyes at her action and mirrored Ryujin's sitting position.

Ryujin was woken up by her father, who was shaking her gently while calling out her name. Her eyes fluttered open. She rubbed her right eye as her left looked out the open door.

"We're here," Her father told her, moving away from her so he could grab some of their luggage. "Don't forget to help out."

Ryujin yawned, slightly grumpy as she was disturbed during her sleep. Sighing deeply, she stepped out of their Mercedes, walking around the side to get to the back where the luggage was resting.

She grabbed her black dufflebag which contained her clothes, along with black suitcase that had more clothes. She hoisted the dufflebag over her left shoulder so it would cross over her torso. Her suitcase was easy to maneuver due to the four wheels on all corners.

More time skip cause im lazy

The house already had some furniture in it, including beds and a sofa. Ryujin was lying down on her naked matress, staring up at her ceiling in deep thought.

"Wonder what the neighbors are like." Ryujin was not the type to worry about others, but this neighborhood had expensive looking houses. Almost every house had gates and large driveways and stairs leading to another story.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her door.

"Ryujin, go greet our neighbors." Her mother demanded. She nodded, signifying that she would be down in a moment. She judged her appearance by using a mirror the previous owners of the house left behind, checking if her blonde hair was neat. Or neat enough.

She swung her door open, hurriedly jumping down the steps so her parents didn't have to yell out her name so she could come down. (Which usually happened when there were visitors.)

She was greeted by two middle-aged husband and wife (she assumed,) and their children.

"Hello! I'm Mr. Hwang." The middle-aged man introduced himself. He was around the age of 40.

"I am his wife, Mrs. Hwang." The middle-aged woman introduced herself this time. "And these are my two children, Hyunjin and Yeji." She had her hands placed on their shoulders.

"Oh, uh, nice to meet you. I'm Ryujin." Her sister and parents didn't need to introduce themselves because they already had, when Ryujin hadn't appeared yet.

The latter took her time to soak in their appearances. Especially the girl's whose name was Yeji. Ryujin had stared at her enough to explain what she looked like to someone who has never met her before.

So there weren't any misunderstandings, she moved to the kitchen for a drink, while her parents chatted with her new neighbors, who she predicted, would be very good friends with.

Ryujin's water break was interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat. It was the boy.

"Oh. Uh, Hyunjin...right?" She wanted to clarify if she were correct or not. The aggressive nodding was enough for her to know she was correct.

They stood there for an awkward moment till he spoke.

"I uhm...I hope we become good friends in the future." Despite his handsome face and tall figure, he was incredibly shy. His courage to walk up to Ryujin and talk to him deserved an award.

She was gruntled by his effort, smiling. Her whiskers appeared. "We can be friends right now. In fact, we already are friends. Don't be nervous about it." She nudged the tall boy who held his left arm .

Ryujin and Hyunjin talked more. The short girl described what her previous lodging was like, and her friends back at her old school. Apparently Hyunjin is a dancer and rapper at his college.

"You must be popular with the girls." Ryujin assumed. Considering his handsome face, his fit body, and talents, he could get any woman to swoon over him.

"Oh... Uh..." He seemed to hesitate. "Yeah I guess so." He spaced out for a bit. "Can I tell you something?" He played with his long fingers.

"Yeah, what's up bud?" She looked up at the black haired boy.

"I don't like girls..." His voice was timid. Almost impossible to hear unless you really paid attention. "As in like-like." He clarified. "I just wanted you to know just in case you-"

"Pfft. Is your gaydar broken?" She interrupted him, then sipped her water bottle.

The way she stood, the way she talked, and the way she acted, was total lesbian energy. Even a straight would know if she were gay.

"Wh-What do you mean..?" He looked down at the girl, who stared back in disbelief.

"I'm gay!" Ryujin exclaimed, enunciating the word 'gay' so he could get the idea.

"Oh..!" He looked at me dumbfounded. "Maybe my gaydar is broken..." He stared at his feet, in embarrasment. "Also, just saying, she's straight."

It was now Ryujin's turn to become embarrassed. "Who's this 'she' you're talking about?"

"My sister, duh." He said in a sarcastic tone.

"And what makes you think that you need to tell
me that she is straight..?" Ryujin had an idea about where this would lead to.

"I saw you checking her out earlier." Hyunjin smiled mischeviously. Ryujin felt something crawl up to her cheeks.

"What the f- no! I wasn't doing none of that. She's not even my type." She defended herself, although she already lost the moment she blushed.

"Mhm..." Hyunjin definately needed to take a mental note on the status of her crush on his sister. Despite his shy demeanor, he was a sucker for drama. He loved to ship his friends with their crushes, and find their perfect match. The tall shy Hyunjin was basically a real life cupid.

"Now shut up." She hushed him. Yeji was just a few feet away, chatting with her sister and her parents. "And, I do not, like her, whatsoever." She said in a threatening voice, scaring the timid giant.

"Whatever." He said, walking away from the kitchen, to join the talk with the seven.

Ryujin could now feel the blush in her ears and cheeks. She might aswell call herself a tomato.

A/N;
Sorry for the short chapter, but this is kind of a filler chapter, to explain Ryujin's whole 'crush' situation. (As well as Hyunjin's persona.) I do hope the future episodes are not as short as this one.

Anyhow, stay safe and be happy ig. Bye bye! ❤️
