Agent Deku

Chapter 11

( I will be updating a few more of my books today. My procrastination had gotten worse during the summer holidays but I will - hopefully- update regularly again.)

The sports festival had slowly been creeping up on UA. Its hero course had gotten along better with other classes since a certain greenette told them about the importance of having connections with other people.

He had multiple meeting with the teachers and they ended up narrowing their suspects as traitors to three people. One in 2-A, one is 2-B and one in the Business course. Some of the teachers like working with Izuku, his intelligence and analytic skill was something that he covered. Analysis was their grey area but now with Izuku, they had covered almost all of the areas.

Soon, the weeks before the sports festival turned into days and all of them were practically jumping in their seats the day before. Aizawa walked into the class, to announce something. " The sports festival is tomorrow and this is a chance for students to get into the hero course but also get kicked out. Show them that you deserve being here and give it your all. Plus ultra... I guess," The ravenette finished his mini-speech, the class had a determined gleam in their eyes. They weren't going to be kicked out - maybe Mineta but that was another topic for another day.

"Welcome to the UA sports festival! Today is for our second years to show us what they've got. Welcome class 2-H ..." Mic commentated in the booth. He continues to introduce the classes and once every class was on the field, Hound dog called for the hero course representative. " -Izuku Midoryia," Brought the greenette out of his frozen-like state. " Go, you damn nerd," Bakugou shoved his forwards and gave him a small smirk as the greenette climbed the stairs.

" Umm- hi?" He started. Now, he was brave and crazy talented but he can not do public speaking. " I want to say that- no matter who you are, what your quirk is or your past- I'm going to route for you to do your best. Archive your goals, even if we haven't officially met. T-that's all," Izuku quickly went back to his class while the crowd was cheering at his sportsmanship. " How are you so good at that, Midro-bro?" Kirishima asked him. " I have no idea, I felt like running off the stage most of the time," He chuckled at the end but gave a small smile.

And so, with the representatives each saying their mini speeches, it was time for the first round. It was like the obstacle race last year only this time there was more climbing and jumping off of things. The count down started and classes were ready to race.

Unlike last year, Todoroki was the last of his class out of the tunnel as he froze it behind him, stopping the rest of the classes. It surprised the crowd that the whole of class 2-A -except Mineta as he got stuck behind Todorki's ice- were working together.

Running under and over robots and stopping them from getting to their classmates, they were able to pass the first obstacle with ease. The second one was a multitude of slabs jutting out from two walls perpendicular to each other. You had to climb them to get the next obstacle.While Uraraka made herself and a few of her classmates that were slipping weightless, Momo was creating things to help them climb and Todoroki was saving people with his ice, they all worked well together and never let one fall behind. Once they were all at the top, most of them slid down some ice instead of climbing down an awkward ladder and some just jumped off and stopped themselves from getting hurt with help from their quirks.

Soon enough, they were all at the last obstacle, a fire maze. The maze was made of fire and stretched meters high. Despite how this looked, it was the easiest to get out of because Izuku just moved the flames and created a path to the end. Now, it was a race. But due to the heat of the maze, Iida couldn't use his quirk and opted to just run.Izuku, Bakugou and Todorki were neck and neck as they emerged from the tunnel. " Well, would you look at that folks! Not only have we seen the first display of teamwork, but there are also three people in first place and a while class has moved onto the next round! What an amazing start we had!" Mic commented. Now, they only had to wait for the next game to begin.
