"Music at all cost! We are the boyband Pentacost!"
I burst into laughter of tears when I heard it from my Kuya's. We're currently watching their live performance in a Music Entertainment at the Television.
"What the hell? Music at all cost? So corny!" I even acted like I was feeling cringed.
"Hey! Take it back!" Ate Ejzh hissed beside me, slapping my thighs.
I grimaced. "Ang corny ate, naging fan ka talaga nila?"
She chuckled. "Sinabi ko rin na corny sila noon."
"Well, hanggang ngayon!"
"Shh, the performance is starting!" Ate Eunique interrupted.
Ngumuso ako bago itinuon na lamang ang buong paningin at atensyon sa pinanonood. Weeks had passed, they became more busy because of their comeback song. Iyon ang inire-rehearse nila noong nakaraan dito sa bahay.
The camera focused to Kuya Windsor who's standing in the middle. "This is actually our second comeback song.. And I would like to give this opportunity to Vermount.." Then the camera moved to Vermount's shocked face. "He was the one who wrote that song. Please tell us something about it.." Kuya Windsor's smile on his lips looks mischievous.
The other members, well except for my brother, smiled meaningfully. Even Ate Eunique and Ate Ejzhaori are chuckling softly too! Ano ang nakakatawa doon?
I felt something twisting and twirling inside my tummy, when Vermount pursed his lips while staring straight at the Camera, tightly gripping on his own microphone. His gaze feels like he was really looking at me.
"Uh, first of all.. The song title is I can.." Vermount began. "I wrote this a year ago.."
I unconsciously bit my lower lip. May parte sa akin na nagwawala kaagad, wala pa naman siyang sinasabi. Siguro kasi'y kahit papaano ay alam ko na ako iyon. I am not assuming things. Halata naman iyon sa lyrics ng kanta.
Vermount's jaw hardened. "I-i wrote it for my Crush.."
Humagalpak sila ng tawa, ganoon din ang dalawang Ate ko na kasama ko. Kuya Aethriou was just creasing his forehead, he looks confused, while the other members are now laughing so hard. I bit the insides of my cheeks to stop myself from smiling. Ang iilang fans na naka sama roon at ibang manonood ay humalakhak rin.
Vermount on the other hand, passed the microphone to Kuya Windsor beside him. He simply muttered some words while smiling wryly. I can easily understand it because I was already trained to read the movements of their lips.
"Tangina kayo, kapag si Aethriou nakahalata ah.."
My heart went wild. Napako ang tingin ko sa kanya, kahit na sina Kuya Windsor na ang siyang nagsasalita, hindi ko pa rin lubusang maialis sa kanya ang paningin. I don't know why, but I find him amusing now.
