Peter Pan
You sit on a log by yourself, out of the way of any of the Lost Boys. They're all sat on logs around the campfire, talking and messing on. You haven't really been able to fit in well in Neverland yet. Maybe it's the fact that you're a girl, or that you don't know what they're expecting you to do. You have only been here for a couple of days, you've got many more days to prove yourself.
"(Y/N)!" You hear someone shout, startling you and shocking you that someone is actually acknowledging you. Looking up, you see that usual smirk plastered across his lips.
"Yes, Pan?" You ask quietly, not actually wanting to talk to anyone. You look back down at the floor, poking the mud with a stick you picked up.
"You look bored, do you want to have a little bit of fun?" He asks, grinning like a Cheshire Cat. You look back up confused, Peters games never seem like actual fun games. In the past few days of being here, all the games he's played has ended up in about three Lost Boys being injured and unable to move without pain. Deciding that you want to stay alive, you shake your head. He frowns arching his eyebrow and stepping closer to you. He pulls on your shoulders making you stand up and drags you over to the Lost Boys.
"Peter what ar-"
"Boys!" He yells interrupting you, all of them turn to look at you making you blush and feel uncomfortable. "(Y/N) here is bored so why don't we play a game?" The boys cheer and stand up gathering around you both. He picks up a wooden arrow gun and shoves it towards you. You take it from his hands and stare down at it with wide eyes. "It's called target practice" he grins placing an arrow in, ready to shoot. He motions Felix to come forward and, of corse, he walks up in front of you since he's basically Pan's little pet. Felix flashes you a cheeky smirk which you blush at and look away.
"Okay, shoot the apple," Pan demands. You look at Felix again who now has an apple placed on top of his head. Your eyes widen and you look at Peter like he's insane, which he actually is.
"No, I could kill him," you say quickly, shaking your head.
"That's why you've got to trust yourself that you won't," Pan says simply. The boys start chanting 'shoot' and you start to feel really uncomfortable. You've never done something like this before, you could hit his head and kill him. You would feel so guilty and you wouldn't be able to live with yourself if you killed someone. How can you get out of this?
Pan moves closer to you, placing his strong arms around you and lifting up the arrow gun. He moves even closer so his body is pressed up against yours and you blush furiously at his actions. His breath is dancing over your skin sending shivers down your spine, he places his hands over yours and you melt at his touch. You snap out of it when you realise he's still pointing the arrow in the direction of Felix's head and you start to worry again.
"Shoot," he whispers into your ear and before you know it, your fingers pulling down the trigger. The arrow starts flying off and you clench your eyes shut, not wanting to see if it goes through his head. A few gasps are heard from the Lost Boys and you feel your heart drop. You can't come to open your eyes. They then erupt into cheers and Pan steps away from you, you open your eyes to see Felix grinning at you clapping slightly. A smile settles on your face and you turn to look at Peter, he's looking down on you with a look of approval and a smile playing on his lips.
A few of the Lost Boys come over and pat you on the back, which you return with a simple smile since you haven't actually talked to any of them before.
Maybe you'll fit in sooner than you thought.
