Peter Pan

It was late, and the darkness from outside the tent was seeping through the thin material smothering you and Peter. You don't mind how dark it is because you always feel protected in his arms, like nothing in all the realms could even put a scratch on you.

You know you should be asleep but tonight you can't seem to keep your eyes shut for more than ten seconds to allow yourself to drift off. Peter's gentle breathing and the sound of his steady heart beat was keeping you relaxed though. The warmth from his skin pressed up against your own bare skin was keeping you well heated as well, so not being able to sleep didn't totally annoy you.

Peter suddenly sits up making you jump up, confusion entering your features. He gets out of bed and starts pulling on all his clothes that he had pulled off earlier to, well, you know.

"What is it, Peter?" You ask, pulling the covers up over your naked body.

"Some one's come to Neverland."

He storms out of the tent and you quickly jump out of bed, pulling on your own clothes before following him outside. He starts shouting the boys and they all jump out of their skin getting up. You go over to wake some of them a bit more gentler than Peter and help their worn out body's stand up. When you return to Peter's side and all the boys are in front of you both, you see Felix who's at the front as usual. He sends you a tired smile which you return.

"Okay boys, we have some visitors on the island! Why don't we give them a surprise welcoming?" Peter grins and they boys cheer loudly as you stay quiet putting on a smile when Peter gives you a quick look of excitement.

You've never really liked being in the presence of the Lost Boys when they have 'a surprise welcoming', because you know what they actually are. Basically, the boys capture everyone in sight and do whatever with them, sometimes they just hang them upside down from trees and let them die there. Sounds weird, but they still do it.

When the boys have all got their weapons and you've all made it down to the beach, you stand back as all the boys spread out to attack what looks like... pirates?

You get intrigued and decide to step out onto the beach, but one of the boys stops you.

"Peter give me strict orders to keep you safe back here. He knew you'd get intrigued, so he told me to not allow you to go near any pirates. To keep you safe." Sam says in a hushed tone, holding softly onto your wrist.

"Please Sam, I just want to know what's going on. Peter won't hurt you, I promise that, I won't let him" you basically beg, the curiosity still building inside of you.

He bites his lip pondering for a moment, "you promise?"

"I promise." He sighs letting go of your wrist and nodding, a big smile erupts on your face and you start walking up behind Peter.

"I thought I got Sam to keep you over there?" Peter enquires, turning his head slightly in your direction.

You roll your eyes, "I got past him."

"Who's this lovely young woman?" Someone says in front of you and you look past Peter's shoulder. You see a man probably in his early thirty's, stubble around his lower face, dark hair pushed over and he's dress up in black leather with a worn out red waist coat. Also, he has a hook instead of a left hand. So He must be Captain Hook, you didn't think he would be so handsome.

"Mine" Peter announces, standing further in front of you. You see Hook glare at Peter before putting on a smile.

"Of course."

"You have till sunset tomorrow to leave. Otherwise, I will make it an unhappy ending for you, Hook." Peter turns around and grabs your arm, walking off into the forest with the boys following closely behind.

He looks angry, his eyebrows are furrowed together and the grip on your arm is quite tight.

"What's wrong, Peter?" you ask, trying to keep up with his pace, the sleepiness deciding to take over now.

"He's going to try to kidnap you."
