iv. a helping hand !
|AMBROSIA HAD OFFICIALLY MOVED TO FORKS, and so far, she didn't mind it. She was currently in the front yard of her new house, watering the few bushes that littered the garden. When she first awoke, she noticed the blazing sun outside that was burning down on the plants, so she decided they could use a drink.
She used her watering can to sprinkle drops of water onto the few plants that were in direct sunlight, when she noticed Bella coming out of her house, approaching the guy she had met yesterday, Jacob.
When Bella walked by her truck, and to his motorcycle she noticed the girl, and waved. Ambrosia smiled at the gesture and waved back.
She watched as the rode off, speeding down the road. She sighed, continuing to water the plants around her. She liked the mixture of greenery in their front yard, even if it was a small area. She looked around, proud of her garden before entering her house.
She looked around, for a second, forgetting that her mother had left for work. She sighed, walking over to the kitchen and opening the bare fridge. There wasn't much inside, seeing as they only moved in yesterday evening. She grabbed the jug of orange juice, placing it on the polished counter. She reached for the handle of a cabinet near her, and pulled out a glass.
She set the glass on the counter before removing the top of the orange juice and pouring just about 3/4 of it. She put the jug back into the fridge, and grabbed her drink, walking upstairs. She still needed to Skype with her friends back at the hospital. Agnes told her to call when she got there, but she ended up getting too tired.
She entered her room, setting the glass on her side table, as she placed her laptop on her bed. She hopped on as well and went to Skype, before pressing on the call button for Felix.
It rang for a moment or so before a smiling Felix popped up. "Amber!" He shouted happily.
"Hey, Felix."
"How are you? What's it like up there? Did you meet anyone yet?" He kept springing questions on her before Liz pushed him off of his bed, and sat in his place.
"Hey darling." She smirked. "You replace us, yet?" She asked sarcastically.
"No, definitely not." The girl chuckled.
"Hey! What was that for?" Felix asked, standing up, now in frame. "Idiot." He mumbled.
"Is that her?" A voice asked.
Felix nodded, and Liz rolled her eyes. "Yeah, it's her."
"How come she called you and not me?" The woman scoffed, now appearing.
"Hey Agnes." Ambrosia greeted, waving at the older woman. Before the woman could shout Ambrosia cut her off. "I'm really sorry I couldn't call any of you sooner, I was real tired."
