xi. the crash !
|AMBROSIA HUMMED TO HERSELF, as she began packing for school. Surprisingly she had gotten sleep this morning, even with multiple dreams coming and going. Even though she got a few hours, it didn't make her tired eyes look any better. She had already gotten comments from her friends, saying that she may need to see a doctor and figure out why she can't sleep. Bella however was the only one who knew the actual reason.
Ambrosia had been zoning in and out of her classes, her reputation as a well knowledged person slowly fading. She had gotten a few B's and C's on her test, which was unlike her, even if it meant she passed. She was usually at the top of the class, passing with flying colors, earning A's and A+'s.
She couldn't understand why those dreams were affecting her so terribly. She had gotten a case of insomnia a couple years back when she was first diagnosed. Although it first started when she denied herself to sleep.
A few weeks after she was told the news of having cancer of the blood, she had started getting severe nightmares. Ones that would scare a person shitless. There was one in particular that she would have almost every night. The nightmare is more of a night terror, because it feels as if she might die from the pain in her brain, that she is desperately trying to wake up, screaming for help, yet nobody comes.
Ambrosia stood above her bed, staring down at herself laying on the hospital's scratchy sheets. The girl who was sleeping and connected to cords looked too much like the real thing, that it tricked the young girl who was dreaming into thinking it was really her.
She stood over herself, watching as the sleeping girl started to jerk around, her body flailing around. Her convulsing awoke Felix who slept in his nearby bed. He yawned silently as he rubbed his eyes. Once he looked up to the center of the sound and gasped loudly, screaming for help from the doctors, who should have been just around the corner.
Ambrosia stared in horror at her clone having a mild seizure. She screamed out, calling as well, although nobody heard her voice, as she, was just having a dream.
Doctors charged into the room, getting serious as they saw the girl. Her eyes were rolled back into her head, and her chest bolted upwards every second. The doctors shouted medical things at eachother, as one tried stabilizing the girl by adding medication into her iv, hoping that, that would calm her body down.
But sadly it didn't. Everyone was yelling and screaming, as a poor sectary made a call to the girls parents, telling them she was unconsciously having a seizure, and need them to come down to the hospital, for two reasons. Obviously number one is because their her parents and it would be nice for them to comfort her, and number two, they needed to fill out some forms.
