"He who holds the key brings death?!" Margo repeated, "He's trying to wipe out humanity?!"

"Looks that way," Lilith said staring at the picture.

"Where's the halo now?"

"It's still in Ava, but she's been possessed by a wraith demon, he's controlling her."

"Well what are we going to do about it?"

"Not we. You," Lilith said turning quickly, stabbing her with a syringe.

"What did you do that f—"

Margo instantly lost color from her face; It was as if she was painted with whitewash. Her body crumpled and Lilith caught her, lowering her to the floor.

"She's down," Lilith shouted towards the doorway.

Mother Superior appeared in the doorway holding a sword and a blindfold. She stared at Margo's body convulsing on the cold stone floor.

"Did you inject her with the serum?"

"Yes mother," she said holding Margo's shaking body.

"We need to move her. Jillian has set up a temporary lab on the main floor."

"Are we sure this is going to work?"

"She said the divinium helped her son and that he was able to sense things from other dimensions."

"Yes, but that was just one case," she said picking Margo up, "how do we know it won't kill her?"

"We don't," mother superior said firmly, "this is our only option."

Lilith carried Margo from the basement to the main floor of the church. As they reached the first level of the church, the lights began to flicker. Jillian stood on the far-side of the church sorting hundreds of test tubes. In the middle of the room Jillian's team had already begun reconstructing the Ark.

"What's that doing here?" Lilith exclaimed.

"I needed to move it," Jillian said without turning around, "Adriel is after it."

"Do we have a location on him?" mother superior interjected.

"Not as of yet, I'm working on it."

"We've given Margo the serum," mother superior said, "are you sure that this will work?"

"I would hope," she said turning slightly, "I took a chance on my own son, Michael."

Jillian's eyes began to weld with tears. She was a strong woman, the fiercest they knew especially with her current mission to expose the secrets of the Vatican. When her son went through the Ark willingly before it was ready, her heart sank. Brick by brick, the walls that had built this strong woman came tumbling down; she began to sob.

"Mother," Lilith whispered while still carrying Margo's slummed body, "we don't have time for this."

"I'm sorry," Jillian said wiping her face, "Lay the girl over there," she continued motioning to an examining table.

Margo began to groan with agony as soon as she was laid on the table. Her head lolled from side to side as she tried to regain consciousness. Her eyes grew wide as she tried to take in her surroundings.

"What's wrong with me," she screamed.

"What is it?" Jillian panicked.

"I can't see anything! Something is wrong with my eyes!"

"What is the meaning of this?" mother superior demanded, "what have you done to her?"

"I-I'm not sure. It may be a side effect," Jillian said flashing a penlight in Margo's eyes, "it may be temporary."

"She can't train like this now," Lilith interjected.

"I'm done with you people!" Margo said hopping off the table, "First you burn me, now you've blinded me. Stay back," she said backing away from them.

Margo's skin began to glow; the divinium coarsed through her veins. Her eyes were a solid white color. Mother superior and Jillian watched in awe as Margo transformed in front of them. Lilith grabbed a nearby glass test tube and chucked it at Margo; without looking, she dodged it.

"Guess she can train after all," Lilith smirked, "Let's begin."
