I decided: I'm not deleting this series. Screw the haters.

"Phil," Scarlett whispered, hoping to wake him up.
But he didn't budge.
"Phil, wake up," Scarlett said a little louder, kicking his knee lightly.
That caused Phil to groan. "I'm trying to sleep you know," he murmured with his eyes still closed.
"Yeah, I know," Scarlett shifted uncomfortably in her handcuffs. She was getting really sick of just sitting on that damn bed all day. "But you need to wake up."
"No I don't," Phil replied with a raspy, sleepy voice. "It's not like we can go anywhere or do anything. Now let me sleep."
Scarlett rolled her eyes and kicked his leg again. "I have an idea to get us out of here."
Phil's head shot up as his eyes opened. "Yeah, you said that before, and look where we are now," he pointed to the handcuffs which bound him to the headboard.
Scarlett sighed. "I think I have a plan that might actually work this time." She could see the look of hesitation on Phil's face. "I promise it'll work, just trust me. Please," her voice softened.
"I don't know...."
"Pleeeeease," Scarlett pouted. "If it works, I'd owe you."
"What exactly would you owe me?" Phil raised his eyebrow.
"Anything you want," Scarlett smiled sweetly. "I'll even give you that kiss you've been waiting for," she smirked.
Phil's eyes light up as he nodded.
"I knew you couldn't resist me," Scarlett grinned as Phil rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"Hey! Whoever's out there! I know you can hear me!" Scarlett shouted loudly.
"Can I help you?" Chris peered through the door.
"Actually, I think you can," Scarlett giggled. "You see, these handcuffs are starting to get really tight," she whined. "And you see, I've been just sitting here all day, and I need to use the restroom. So is there any chance you could unlock these," she gazed up at the cuffs above her head, "and let me go, I promise I won't cause any trouble," she smiles innocently. "I'll do anything you want too," she declared.
"Hmmm," Chris contemplated this.
"I mean, you wouldn't want me to stain these nice sheets or anything, now would you?" Scarlett lowered her voice.
"Okay, here's the deal," Chris started, "if I unlock you, and let you do your business or whatever," he paused, "then you have to do something for me," he smirked.
"Anything," Scarlett blurted.
"I want you to make a phone call, to your father," Chris chuckled sadistically.
Scarlett was puzzled. "Why do you want me to call my father?"
Chris laughed as if the question amused him. "It's called ransom money, sweetheart. You simply tell him to bring me $10,000,000 and I may or may not let you two go."
"Okay. I--I'll do it," Scarlett gulped nervously. "Now just unlock these stupid things already, I have to fucking pee," she squirmed.
Chris reached into his back pocket to retrieve the key. "Try any stunts and you'll never see daylight again, got it?" he warned.
Scarlett nodded in understanding as Chris reluctantly unlocked the handcuffs from above her head. Purple bruises formed around her wrists as Scarlett traced over the handcuff imprints. "Ow," she brought her arms down as the soreness began to sink in.
