"Cass, this has to stop."  Beth told her red headed friend, looking at her bruised face and beaten limbs. "It's not a big deal. I'm used to it." She responded quietly, tucking a strand of her wavy hair behind her ear. "That doesn't mean you deserve it!" The dirty-blonde haired girl shouted, making Cass jump back a little. "Suh-sorry..." Cass mumbled, slightly frightened. "Shit.... C....I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Beth responded guiltily. Cassie did absolutely nothing but shrug.

They were on the way to work, both of them worked at 'Mac's CD's', a shabby, beaten, CD and video game store. Beth sped up a little, making the trees look as if they were flying by. "B-beth...?"

"Yeah C?"

"What if after work.... wah-what if we ruh-run away?" Cass asked, a slight stutter in her voice that fell upon here when she became nervous. "Just run away? Cass, what about home?" Beth asked. "It's not like I have a real home anyways...." Cassie mumbled, staring out the window with a hint of sadness. The dreary weather fit in perfectly with the mood.

The small parking of 'Mac's CD's' slowly got larger as Beth Hubbins pulled into it. Once the car pulled to a stop, Cass got out of the car as if she didn't do it within five seconds, she'd be assassinated. "F-f-fuck!" Cass whisper yelled, trying to unlock the door with one of the fifteen keys on the key-ring. "Yesssss." the redhead whispered as she found the correct key to open the door.

"Cassie Grace Hues! Slow your ass down!" Beth yelled, finally getting out the car, putting her nametag on. She walked into the store, only to see the Hues girl behind the  register already. Cass made sure to look everywhere, but where her friend stood. "This is going to be a long day." Beth whispered to herself, not knowing of what would happen that day.
