"I wanna dance with somebody! I wanna feel the heat with somebody!" Cass sung her Whitney Houston favorite quietly to herself before a lanky, black-hair, easy to punch somebody walked in.

Cassie Hues didn't favor him too much. Beth on the other hand, thought he was a cute, well-rounded guy. "Welcome to Mac's CD's. If you have any questions, ask me or one of the other staff members here." Hues said, repeating the same words she had to say every time anyone entered the store. Even if she knows them.
"Will do..." He said in his normal heavy country accent, squinting at the nametag even though they went to school together, "Cassie." He sent her a smile, of which she kept a straight face in return. "Don't mind her." Beth said, her soft voice echoing through Cassie's ears. Cassie Hues very simply rolled her eyes and went to grab a box from under the counter. "Beth, I'm stocking up and you get the register. My face hurts already from all the smiles I've had to force." The redhead said with a small laugh. "Alrighty Hues. I'll take register." Mrs. Hues grabbed her phone and earbuds, and played her favorites. Sam Cooke, The Temptations, David Bowie, and Tiffany.
'I Think We're Alone Now' by Tiffany started up and it sent a smile shooting across her face. She looked down the aisle before dancing a little. Swaying her hips and using her hands. "Runnin' just as fast as we can! Holdin' onto one another's hands! Tryna getaway into the night, then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the- SHIT!" Cass sang, before falling and just laying there to stare at the ceiling before a voice spoke up. "That was some fine dancin' Hues. Not bad vocals either." River stated. Cass was red-faced from being embarrassed. "Shouldn't you be womanizing my friend?" River scoffed and shook his head, "See, I'm not as bad as you seem to think I am. I don't really know why you despise me, but people can have their reasons I suppose." The sad truth is, Cass didn't really trust any boys, men, or anyone who was obsessed with them... other than Beth. She thought all guys where like her and Beth's dads. Mean. Abusive. Assholes. Shitheads. But she simply shrugged it off and stood up. "Anyways, see ya later Cass." He said with a salute. "Alrighty Aphrodite." She could hear him chuckle softly and then head up to the register.
