Chapter Five: Last First Kiss

Sorry it took me forever to update. 

I had to get some ideas and work was hard. I actually quit because it kept me from writing and it was so far from home. I can't drive yet so i had people drive me and i knew they didn't want to. I just felt bad. 

So i'll be writing more and such trying to update all of my books.

Chapter Five: Last First Kiss

Things have been getting back to how they should be. Lexi was still living with us and I would always find her looking at me out of the corner of my eye. When I would look at her, she would turn her head and blush, making it the cutest thing ever.

And the way she was with Lea, I couldn’t be happier. The way Lea smiled whenever he saw her just made me smile. That’s the first time I actually saw Lea smile at someone. Granted she smiles at me, but this was something different. There was something in her small eyes that just lit up every time she looked at Lexi. 

Something has been going on with Lexi. I mean, i was trying not to have feelings for her but when you accidentally walk into the bathroom when a girl is shaving her legs with only a towel on, it does things to you when you're like me. I blushed like crazy and backed away so fast. She looked around the corner and smiled at me, just like that.

I was laying in my bed with Lea asleep on my chest. She was so tiny for a baby and it seemed like she woul break any second. I had my hands behind my head just thinking about her. She was so different but yet similar to Kayla in so many ways. Her hair was brown and curly like hers although Kayla always had it in a bun. Lexi would always have her hair out and she always looked flawless. Once she got used to not having to wear so much makeup all the time, she was naturally beautiful the way she is. She was just breath-taking and made me want to do so many things that i didn't know was possible.

"Zayn?" Lexi poked her head through my closed door once she opened it. "Can i.. talk to you?"

I lifted my head a little, making sure that i didn't wake up Lea. She was like me so it took a lot to wake her up. "Sure. Vas' Happenin?"

She smiled as she made her way into my room, closing the door behind her. "I wanted to thank you for taking me in here and all. There's no way i could go back home."

"That's not a problem." I picked Lea up carefully and put her into her crib right next to my bed. She had to sleep with me or else she would never sleep at all. "You needed help and all and i'm here to.. ya know, help." She smiled again, making my heart skip a beat. "Is there something more?"

"Yeah... Uh... I don't know where to start."

"Start from the beginning." I made a gesture with my hands and she just laughed. 

"Well, my real name isn't Lexi. It was my street name and all. My real name is Nina."

"Nina..." I like that name much better than Lexi. It was too close to Lea's.

She nodded her head. "Yeah. And i have this kind of condition..."

"What kind of condition?"

"Don't worry, i won't die from it. It's just... I'm... um... loosing my hearing."

"You're becoming deaf."

"Mhm... And i know you don't want to have such a bigger problem to take care of so i was just gonna...."
