It was Saturday afternoon and Adora was saying goodbye to Razz. "Come visit very soon, Dearie." Razz smiled as she hugged Adora again. "Of course, Grandma. You know I will." Adora stepped into her car and waved one move time and drove away. Razz smiled and waved.

"Now where is that cat?"

"Blondie! You're back!"

Catra smiled as Adora locked her car. "Just in time for the party." Adora giggled as she hugged Catra. "That you're right, now come on! The others are telling me that I must be dying without my girlfriend." Catra laughed. Adora playfully scoffed, "Yea, the girlfriend that you're breaking up with tonight."

They both laughed as they walked back inside the building.

"Sooo, are you two headed to the party?" Glimmer asked as she sat on Adora's bed. "Yea, Catra had to get something from Scorpia's." Adora said as she decided to let her hair breathe. "Hmm, such a shame you two aren't dating for real." Glimmer teased. "Well, you see Lonnie- wait what?" Adora paused and looked at her friend. "You knew?"

Glimmer giggled, "Of course I knew! Jesus Adora, you can't act to save your life!" Glimmer then got up and put her hands on Adora's shoulders, "Seriously, Adora. Sometimes you need a sign in front of your face that says 'Catra isn't just a friend.'" Glimmer said. Adora raised an eyebrow in confusion, "But Catra is just a friend?"

Glimmer faced paled, "A..Are you serious right now?" Adora shrugged, "Look either way we're 'breaking up' tonight." Glimmer sighed, "Well Hayley Kiyoko, I tried."

"I still don't understand why you two can't actually date? It's pretty clear that you two are made for each other." Scorpia said eating Lucky Charms. Catra groaned, "Adora is my friend, let alone my roommate who I am going to share a room with for the next three plus years."

"Okayyy...but wouldn't you rather live with awkwardness or live with the thought of what it could've of been?" Scorpia asked the girl in front of her. Catra sat on the couch and put her hands on her head, "Sometimes I hate you for being right." Scorpia smiled, "Of course I'm right."

Catra looked up and smirked, "Here you are giving me advice and not taking it." Scorpia froze and sighed in defeat, "Don't ruin ittt." Catra giggled, "Come on, we should probably get going."

Music blasted right as you entered the house, drinks everywhere, people dancing and talking as some cheered on others for taking shots. Adora and Glimmer tried looking for their friends. Once they found them they all greeted each other. "Scorpia? I thought Catra was coming with you?" Adora asked. "She did, she just went to the bathroom really quickly." Scorpia smiled as she went back to talking to Perfuma.

Adora walked around in hoping to look for Catra but was stopped by another blonde girl. "Hey pretty, name's Jules. How about you?" Jules smiled. Adora smiled, "Oh hi, I'm Adora. I'm actually looking for someone right now-" "Are you single?" Jules cut her off.

Adora blinked in shocked, " Um..yes?"

"Then you wouldn't mind me stealing a dance?" Jules said as she took out her hand. Adora hesitated, Catra wouldn't mind..after all they weren't actually dating.

"Oh, um, sure..that sounds like fun." Adora smiled as she took the blonde's hand.

Catra wiped her hands and took a deep breathe. You can do this Catra..tell her.

Yea...she was going to tell Adora that she likes her.

Once Catra walked out and through the dancing people, someone caught her eye. "W-What?" There she saw Adora dancing with another blonde....

...the same way they danced at the party.

Catra felt as if something possessed her because she stood straight up and walked up to them. She then grabbed Adora's hand. " Catra what are you-" "Sorry, I have to steal my friend really quickly." Catra cut Adora off as she dragged her upstairs. As soon as Catra found an empty room she led Adora in there and she locked the door.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Catra huffed out. Adora looked at the girl as she stood next to the wall, "What are you talking about? I thought we were doing the breakup during the party..I didn't think you'd mind this." Catra glared at the blonde, "Adora you can't dance with other girls."

"But why can't I?! Catra we even aren't together why are you so worked up over this?!" Adora glared back. Catra huffed and tried getting the words out but she couldn't. Come on you idiot! Tell her!! It shouldn't be this hard. "Catra if you don't tell me why then I'm going back down there." Adora crossed her arms. Catra stood there hesitating. They stood there which felt like forever..

..Until Adora had enough. "Alright Catra, I'm leaving since you can't tell me why." Adora's hand reached for the handle of the door.

"NO!" Catra yelled as she put a hand on the door.

"CATRA!"

"Adora, I-ugh!"

"Catra what are you-" Adora was cut off by Catra.

Before Adora could process what was happening...Catra planted her lips on Adora's.
