i was sitting down in a hotel room with ruel and his sisters. they were sitting on one bed and i was laying on my stomach on the other with ruel doing the same next to me.

we were all on our phones i was on tik tok as usual. "i wish i could dance like charli d'amelio" i sighed. "that's a shame cause i dance way better than her" ruel smirked. "but are you becoming rich for your dancing?" i lifted an eyebrow at him. he just laughed.

my phone started blowing up with instagram notifs. i ignored it although it was weird. i set my phone down and turned to ruel. he looked at me and kissed my cheek.

i mouthed "i love you" to him and he mouthed it back. "holy shit y/n i'm being tagged in loads of pictures of you and ruel. did someone get hacked?" coco looked up from her phone.

i turned my phone on and went to instagram. "i'm not hacked. are you hacked?" i asked ruel. he shook his head to say he wasn't.

i went to snap and saw on my private story it had been screenshotted. "fuck my private story on snap has been leaked. someone screenshotted them" i said really annoyed.

i went back to instagram and looked at the posts everyone was tagging me in. there were several pictures of me and ruel together. the fandom hadn't figured out that we're dating yet. surely they should know now but they aren't supposed to know.

"we'll just deny everything" ruel said. "it's hard to deny pictures of you two like that. if you say you're just friends no one would believe it. i say you just ignore it" sylvie suggested.

i looked over at ruel who was looking at his phone. his face didn't look so happy. "what's bothering you?" i put my phone down. "all this shit is so tempting. i want everyone to know about us. i don't like this" he ranted.

"no one likes this especially people in my dm requests now" i looked away. "hey don't listen to them" he said softly and i nodded. "i'll try" i said with a soft smile.

"let's face it, they were gonna find out sooner or later. that's a secret that was gonna get out eventually" coco said.  i nodded agreeing with her.

"wait, actually i have an idea" ruel said. "not sure if i'll like it but i wanna hear what you got" i said to him. "we don't need to confirm or deny it at all. but we can tease and hint. just fuck with everyone it'll be fun" he said with a huge smile on his face.

"you're like a huge child" sylvie gave him a weird look. "what's the fun in growing up? plus, you gotta live on the edge sometimes. yolo" he said.

"good idea i like the thinking" i fist pumped him. we ended up walking to the shops around the area. we wanted to post on our stories about being in the same places.

we eventually walked into a shop full of sweets. "how about we have these" i held up a sweet called "ring pops"

he smiled and nodded. we bought them and took pictures of ourselves with the ring pop on our finger.

we posted them on our stories and my notifs went crazy. i even had ruel's jumper on which made it 10x better.

my dms were full of angry 12 year olds but i didn't care anymore. i was happy with the person that makes me the happiest. there's people who are happy for us and that makes me happy. i love living on the edge especially with a 6'4 17 year old child
